Overview
Each resource correlates to a Chaos God when playing as the Daemon Prince, and not all are as easy to guess judging by the God's domain. When exploited these resources give God specific Glory, Corruption, and a Recruitment Cost decrease for that god's units. They are as follows:

Khorne:
Timber
Salt
Iron
Obsidian

Nurgle:
Medicinal Plants
Furs
Exotic Animals
Pastures

Tzeentch:
Marble
Dyes
Pottery
Tusks

Slaanesh:
Wine
Gold
Gemstones
Spices

Khorne is all resources for making weapons, except salt which is a cheap food preservative: important for long voyages/feeding armies. Or maybe it's just a joke about them being mad.
Nurgle is all animal husbandry stuff, except medicinal plants, which are pretty self explanatory.
Slaanesh is gold+gems for garish aesthetics and wine+spice for hedonism.
and Tzeentch is... the leftovers? infrastructure/craftsmen goods because the wheel of progress or something? I'm leaning toward it's just leftovers.

Find it funny that Spices are Slaanesh. Because while it does make sense, if you play as Khorne it notes how Tzeentch cultists tend to get into the spice industry for the description. So Slannesh is the demand, and Tzeentch is the supply. Also Khorne end mentions how gems can be used to trap daemons, I would presume Tzeentch cults would be interested in that more than others. But yeah, Slaanesh just like gems for being gems. Also I could see both Slaanesh and Tzeentch liking marble sculptures... Anyone got any ideas for things from Nurgle and Khorne? Maybe some joke about Khorne tend to be seen as the closest to Satan in depiction, and Salt and Demons...

Do forgive the delay. The monogod factions (Kugath, Skarbrand, etc.) all exploit resources the same way, being a province wide money buff. With the Daemon Prince each resource 'glorifies' a god with he bonuses listed. It's a province effect so you aren't pressured to seek them out, only consider them if you want extra points for a specific god's army or gear.
Hopefully that clears it up

Just to confirm that I'm understanding this mechanic correctly, for example, playing as Nurgle, exploiting furs gives bonus or do you have to exploit all four of the relevant resources at the same time? Also, where does UI show the applied effect?
UsurperXVIII  [author] Mar 15 @ 11:05am
you'll have to exploit it yourself, it's a local effect in the province and the daemon prince himself does not trade

Does trade work or do we have to exploit the resources ourselves?

the game says local for the province, I'm inclined to believe that while noticing that I could recruit entire armies for free (yes even greater daemons and soul grinders)

Are they global reductions or local for that settlement/province ?

THANK YOU FOR THIS. It's so obnoxious not being able to look this up in game.
