Equinoxe - Full Playthrough and Achievement Guide

Full video playthrough and written guide for all the achievements.

Introduction

Equinoxe is a 3d person puzzle game which uses a unique mechanic of splitting the screen (aka a mirrored view). It generally takes about 30 mins to complete a playthrough and has 21 achievements to unlock.

Note: The contemplation achievements should now be fixed in the latest update (2022-03-18).

Unlocked if you watch the credits. Note this unlocks as soon as you start watching them so, you can simply quit out if you feel you must :)



Remnants of the past
Find the hidden mural

Use the video above for the location and timestamp. You simply need to stand in front of mural for it to unlock.



Splash splash
Casually splash in the pond

As you make your way to puzzle 8 in the video, you'll see a small section of water surrounding one of the pedestals. Simply walk inside it to get your feet wet and the achievement should unlock.



Full Spin
Make a complete turn to the stone

At the same puzzle, as you make you way up to hill and interact with the pedestal to rotate the stone to align the image. Rotate the stone fully about 3 times before aligning the image and this should unlock.



This is no companion
Leave it here already !

Nice little nod to the game Portal :) As you'd expect, simply walk through a portal while holding one of the objects.



A peacefull mind
Find and use every contemplation points

The achievement should unlock if you sit at the 3 benches located throughout the game. For the locations, please see the video above. Once you "use" the contemplation point, it should set off a sequence of panning sections of the surrounding area.

Note: The first contemplation point "novice", initially sets off a cut scene as it does in the video. However, this does not count as "using" it. You should ensure you interact with it twice, as its the second time that triggers the panning interaction, not the first.

The achievment "Remnants of the past" doesn't work for me for some reason. Tried everything I could think of: standing there for some time, starting a new game, restarting the game, reinstalling the game. Am I doing something wrong? What may be the ussue?

luckily, it is not required to visit all points in one walkthrough. unlocking the first scene in the second walkthrough also unlocked Peaceful Mind achievement.

Great guide dude! same problem with thecontemplation points, there's a last achievement called "Full spin" with the description "Make a complete turn to the stone" but i dont know which stone it is.
