It's all just a scenario he made up in his mind.
He copies Paul Allen's style because he doesn't know how to dress or act rich, its the same reason he does the skincare routine.
It's why he gets mad when there's no evidence of his murders, and why some people don't acknowledge some of the things he says, like the "I'm utterly insane" line.
He's just a loser who only got his job because his dad owns the company!
You're not following a sigma rich man who got his job from the bootstraps up and murders for fun.
You're idolizing a loser who creates scenarios inside his head and copies from other people because they're more respected than him.
But when I do, he's not there, only an entity. Something illusory, and though he can hide his cold gaze and I can shake his hand and feel flesh gripping mine and I can even sense our lifestyles are somewhat comparable, he's simply not there.
