It is a phrase which I believe very much, ignorance of the past condemns us to repeat it. I already anticipate that I will have some complaints for allowing whaling, but the concept of sandbox is to give the player the freedom to decide what he wants or not to do in the game ... knowing that it is something that happened and the game is a recreation, everyone can decide what to do, as in the case of stealing or attacking other ships if you are a pirate.
In the end, seeing how other games were affected, I prefer to be cautious and avoid conflicts.

This is whats problematic today these leftist crybabies try to erase history by omitting everything that happened. You know the saying those who dont receive education of what happened in the past are doomed to repeat it in the future. The answer should be to not hide it and actually tell people it existed and not omit it.

Yes, historically that happened sadly and is part of history and this era, but in the end it is a very damaging and delicate subject. So I decided to stay out of it and avoid misinterpretations.

You forgot to add another resource you can buy and sell.......slaves otherwise who else are you going to get to pick your sugar and cotton. You can use little meeples to symbolize them say 1 brown meeple = 10 slaves? Hey its historically accurate

It lists all the upgrade tokens on page 16 of the 'complete set' manual

You're missing the 'Top Gunner' upgrade token (red) and have an extra copy of the 'Overloaded' upgrade tokens (there are 3 when there should be 2)
