Description
A compact map for up to 4 players in an overgrown industrial environment. This is original content, created by me.

Compiled on NetRadiant custom 2021-01-05 using these switches:

-meta -samplesize 8
-vis
-light -extlmhacksize 1024 -brightness 2 -bounce 3 -fastbounce
-dark -dirtdepth 32 -dirtscale 3 -dirty -exposure 200
-patchshadows -bouncescale 2 -shade -cpma -samples 3

The external lightmaps were tweaked in Affinity Photo using the following settings:
- Vibrance (100%)
- Color balance (Shadows +25% Blue, Highlights +10% Red, +10% Yellow)

Editor: GtkRadiant 1.5.0 and NetRadiant in the beginning, finished in NetRadiant custom
Shader editing: q3ase, Notepad++, xed
Image editing: Gimp, Krita, Affinity Photo
3D modeling: Blender
Texturing: Substance Painter

Credits

The skybox texture is "Sky 169" from cgskies https://www.cgskies.com/sky.php?sky=169

Teleporter, jump pad and lamp models and textures were created from scratch by me.

The remaining textures are either directly taken from https://www.textures.com/ or are based on textures from this page that were then modified by me.

the single best map i have ever played in an FPS. it's got everything; layers, areas to have fights, hallways, open spaces, verticality, balance, intuitive weapon placement, just, everything is incredible. excellent work, man.

I've uploaded a new version. Here's what has changed:

- The tree branches now look as intended and don't warp weirdly anymore. This was caused by the branch texture having an odd resolution
- All windows with brick frames have been replaced with models. They are more detailed and have a cleaner topology and texture mapping than the previous BSP windows
- The red brick texture now uses a higher resolution. I had unintentionally used a downscaled version previously
- Improved the texture alignment on various surfaces
- The performance should have improved, although at the cost of blurrier shadows
