Key strategic elements to consider when playing Pugna:

Use Nether Blast to secure ranged creep last hits and to damage opponents at the same time.
Use Decrepify to ruin last hits for the opponents.
You can Decrepify yourself or an ally in trouble and even attempt to Town Portal Scroll out.
Chip opponents` towers gradually with Nether Blast whenever you can if current mana allows it.
The full value burst spell combo would be: Nether Ward, Nether Blast, Decrepify quickly and begin Life Draining.
With Life Drain, you can restore health to an ally. Watch your health though.
Place Nether Ward close enough to opponents but out of their sight.
Because of your innate, you can use all your spells and items while channeling Life Drain.
