Medieval Overhaul: Royalty

Description

  • This mod lends a medieval look to the pawns of the Empire faction included in the Royalty DLC. Furthermore, some of the permits granted by the Empire have been reworked to fit a medieval environment.

  • In addition, the Empire settlement is being reworked at the moment. At the end of July/beginning of August, the Empire settlement will appear as a fortress that can be besieged by brave landlords.

  • If you want a medieval looking empire shuttle, i recommend using AOBA's Nothing but just a Royalty Aeroship mod.

  • Revised units
    Janissaries
    Bestower
    Merchants

  • New units
    Mercenaries
    Light infantry
    Heavy Infantry
    Crusaders

  • Removed Permits
    call glitter medicine
    call aerodrone strike
    call aerodrone salvo

  • New Permits

Yes, there are likely to be a few issues with VFEE. Because I wanted to take the easy way out and patch several things at once. Apparently that wasnt a good idea, because the patch simply doesnt work that Well or is very prone to errors. I will rewrite it.

Hey, I haven't played in a while, did you have the chance to check on the rank bedroom requirements issue?

@Emeralth : But to address your problem, an Ancient Troll isn’t actually supposed to be tamable. Going aggro is a mechanic that kicks in if you do somehow manage to do it. At least back in the days, when i was still working on it :-)

Just to clarify once more: Caek is asking about Medieval Overhaul: Royalty, which is the mod whose comment section we are currently in ;-)

It is based on Medieval Overhaul, but bugs reported for Medieval Overhaul itself are outside my control. So, as I said, I think the mods were simply mixed up here :-)

Too many bugs imo...e.g raw hide stacks not working properly; Got a message an ancient troll was tamed and he went in an perma aggro mode several days until I quit the game.

@Balthazad : I think you may be confusing this with another mod. "Thousands complained about bugs" is a pretty wild exaggeration. A few people occasionally report issues, but without a log file there is simply nothing I can investigate. There are many possible causes, and not all of them are necessarily related to the mod itself.

Also, where exactly did I ever label this mod as a public beta test?

@Caek don't. it changes so much, it will destroy your game. and idk how buggy it still is, but when i tried it a while ago, it's been an unmarked public beta test, thousands complained about bugs, so i wouldn't expect it to run smooth yet. in fact, i don't expect this to run smooth before we get the next DLC.

I know you can't take this out mid-run, but is it safe to add mid-run? Figured it might help out the rest of my ongoing MO run since the Empire tends to be a bit weird when they show up as they tend to be a bit undergeared courtesy of the world tech limiter.

hey i just wanted to say that using the "vfe empire room requirement removal" mod and then removing it fixed the overlapping furniture requirement. Now its MO only. Maybe that can help you fix it, since there were no red errors earlier so idk what didnt work.
