The Musket
Right, so you've shot a bunch and died a load. Here's how the line infantry musket actually works, so that you can die more, but with a little more knowledge.

The Line Infantry musket shoots low. It just does. Jump onto a 'training' server and have a play. If you can't be effed with that, here's some terrible screenshots of me testing stuff out at around 50-60m.

Strange stuff: The shot always comes from the camera, not the muzzle of the weapon. Basically this creates odd f*ckery with cover and close quaters stuff, so for best results just shoot from first person, and switch back to third person for everything else.

The weapons have either none or very little vertical inaccuracy. The Musket has +/- 2.8 degrees of random horizontal inaccuracy with each shot. You have no real control over this, crouching doesn't do much (but it does something, at least for line and light infantry).

So, all you *do* have control over is the vertical drop, so to you other new folks like me:

AIM HIGH!
The general rule of thumb seems to be, use the bottom of the crosshairs to aim at their balls.
