Why do this?
The Ouroboros stats get carried over through acts, and because you can guarantee getting the Ouroboros (renamed Ourobot) in Act 3, it is worth upgrading it at least to one shot levels. You can eventually add the Sniper talent to it, making it extremely powerful (not that you really need it, but still fun)
Written Guide
1. Get to Act 2 (The overworld)
2. Unlock the tower (bottom left)
3. Collect some of the following Cards
 MANDATORY
 ・Ouroboros
 ・Necromancer
 ・Sentry Drone/Spore (at least 1, preferably multiple)
 OPTIONAL
・Stoat/Elk/49er (anything with at least 1 Attack and cheap)
 ・Cat/Warren (4-10 copies)
 ・M3atB0t (1 is enough)
4. Fight the Training Dummy on the second floor
5. Place a Sentry 1 right of the Hand (Force Mage)
6. Wait out your turns until you have 3ish turns left
7. Place the 1 Attack minion on the far left, fill up your board with trash
8. After 2 turns, Force Mage should be pushed into the Sentry, killing it
9. Clean up the rest of the board (but don't run out of cards and DO NOT FINISH THE BOSS OFF, sac if necessary)
10. Sac two and summon Ouroboros
11. Sac a random creature with the hammer
12. Use 3 bones to summon Necromancer
13. Sac Ouroborosinto Warren or Cat
14. Repeat either of the following
 a) fill up your hand with Rabbits with Warren, and sac Rabbit + Ouroborosinto Ouroboros
 b) sac Ouroboros + Cat into Ouroboros
This will upgrade Ouroborosby 2 each time you sac it, because of the Necromancer's effect
15. Fill up the board with Ouroboros, use M3atB0t for last slot
16. End turn and get a ton of Pelts
17. Repeat since you can do this fight repeatedly

You can also do this with Leshy. If he takes a photo of Ouroboros's sigil, the cards he gives you will also have the undying sigil. That means you'll have several undying amalgams that can fuel the real Ouro. Useful if you want a strong Ouroboros WHILE clearing the story.

The Grimora grinding strat seems to be best, though. All you need is for her to wipe your Ouroboros, and then you play a Necromancer. Then you can go infinite while also getting +4/+4 each cycle.

@RoboticWrapper that is not broken. Grimora creates "undead" versions of your cards that are free and have their stats set to 0/1 iirc (presumably through subtraction of AttackValue and LifeValue-1). ouroboros is a savefile encompassing effect where it counts how many times it died and then adds attack and life according to that counter. This then makes all ouroboroi on screen stronger as well whenever one dies, be they in the hand or on the field, they even get stronger if one dies while another still hasn't attacked that turn.

useing Ouroboros in the 1st part of the skelly girls boss battle if it gets saced to the board wipe you get a copy which is currently broken if cuz its free to play and sacking either of them causes both of them to gain power

I found a much simpler method, and it doesn't require a whole lot of setup. You just need Tomb Robber and a few bones to start off with. Use Tomb robber to convert a few bones into skeletons, sacrifice the skeletons to summon Ouroboros, then use the hammer on Ouroboros to kill it. Because yes, using the hammer counts as killing that creature.

You will receive two bones back from killing the skeletons, and an extra one for killing Ouroboros. Convert those bones back into skeletons with Tomb Robber, use those to resummon Ouro, and hammer the Ouro to kill it again. Rinse and repeat until Ouroboros is as strong as you want.

As a bonus, you'll generate an infinite stockpile of bones, which can be used to power, say, Bone Heap when you are finished power leveling Ouro for even more extra damage.
