After the Empire is Now Live!
Link to Teaser Video of the New and Improved After the Empire
After the Empire is a fast paced 4X Strategy Space Empire Building Game in which you play as as one of the mighty artificial intelligences that destroyed the Empire. It features streamlined, high stakes game play against challenging computer opponents.

The Empire has fallen. Mankind has been ground down into the dust of history, and all life with it. But in the still darkness, the machines that devoured the Empire of Man from within stir, called once more to war.

- Become a reawakened AI determined to dominate the ruins of the Empire it once destroyed.
- Build a complex Empire without the headache of managing hundreds of build queues.
- Engage computer opponents that don't cheat.
- Customize your faction's advantages to make each game unique.
- Rally your fleets. Improve your technology. Conquer the stars.

There are no trivial decisions. No obvious choices. No distractions from the complexity of fair struggle - only war. With limited resources, make decisions that have a real impact.

The game offers a high level of difficulty without resorting to giving your opponents unfair advantages. Regardless of difficulty, computer players receive no additional bonuses. Instead, on easier levels you receive the "unfair advantage".

After the Empire emphasizes the grand strategy of a fast paced board game over a knowledge of constrained and arbitrary building and research trees. Escape the 'half hour turn' curse of other empire building games.

Enjoy streamlined and simplified game play that you can jump right into that still provides a deep and satisfying feeling of strategic struggle against competent, fair opposition.

This has potential. I like simple battles based on ships going past each other on long voyages. That's very realistic. I hope it goes in that direction.

This still has a long way to go.
Way to far to be on Greenlight yet.
No, because it doesn't really look like anything smart or fun.
Should have waited until it was further along and then wow'd us.
