In this you mod you'll play as the mighty Trung Sisters, heroines of Vietnam. Although ultimately you fell to the army of the Han invaders, though it took an army of one hundred thousand men to slay two women.

Please rate this mod up!

This is the Fifth mod in the Colonialist Legacies: Histories of the New World modpack that focuses on adding high quality Colonial and Pre-Colonial civs!

Features voice acting by Charlatan Alley and Custom Leader Music by Antti Martikainen!

Leader: The Trung Sisters

The Ascending Dragon : Defensive structures within a city increases the spawn rate of Great Writers, Artists and Musicians. Receive +5% Culture and +5% Food in each city for each Social Policy adopted in the Honor Tree.

Viet Cong - Gains Invisibility and Double Movement in Forests and Jungles, unlike the Infantry it replaces. However, it also has a combat penalty in open terrain.

Water Puppet Theater - Has one slot for a Great Work of Writing. More expensive than the Amphitheater that it replaces, as well as providing an additional point of culture - Great Works contained within a city that has Water Puppet Theater increases a city's Defensive Strength by 5

New Colonialist Legacies Civ?

Yeah. The VC have been specialized in SpecOps tactics during the Vietnam War and that would be replacement for Paratroopers. That's why nowadays the VPA have been making use of Dac Cong troops (special forces), but I guess it should be the unique unit for Ho Chi Minh. The Trung Sisters should have Rattan Archers (UU replacing crossbowman).

I think that VC should have been a replacement to paratroopers. Given VN's defensive focus, trading offensive mobility for defensive strength seems like a good compromise.

If you are having trouble downloading that mod, use the Steam Workshop Downloader. Remember to use the 7-zip for unzipping the mods.

Meanwhile, there's Ho Chi Minh mod already available but the downside is that Chrisy15 failed to add music for that said mod, so it would be best to avoid his mod for now.

@Jordan of the wind

I believe the fact Chrisy15 has released the Ho Chi Minh mod very too late as part of Horrible Histories during Halloween celebration after several months of long wait that is already taken too long. But unfortunately and sadly, Chrisy15 failed to include the music in his mod since Hoop did not answer his phone call.

Until that time when music for Ho Chi Minh's is included, I guess we must play this civ as the Trung Sisters for the time being.

Meanwhile as what Age of Empires II HD have included the Vietnamese civ in Rise of the Rajas DLC, the Rattan Archer should be the unique unit.

I don't see why everyone is complaining about the anachronisms in this mod. George Washington didn't have F-7s and Pedro II didn't have Pracinha's in his army. Civs are supposed to reflect the nation as a whole, within the constraints of the three unique rule, not the leaders.

If modders want to limit themselves to stuff that only happened in the leaders lifetime, that's perfectly fine, but holding them to such a standard is really weird. Not to mention that standard happened later in the culture of Civ V modding, early mods were as anachronistic as they got, and sometimes straight up made up stuff that sounded cool.

Unfortunately, @TPangolin is no longer working on his mod anymore.

Also, @Chrisy15 is taking too long to develop the Ho Chi Minh mod and, thus, is deserted from Civ V.

The other modders (Kobazco, Kiang, etc.) will take advantage of this idling and will take over the mods for now...

you've to rename all city cause Dai Viet ain't have Ha Noi. Ha Noi is modern day,Me Linh is the capital back on Trung Sister. I including the Wiki links so you can check and rename all the city and the capital. The main unit also not Viet Cong, main Units for Trung sister are neither Elephan or Wrestling
