Pretty much enjoyed the guns
Upgraded versions are so good, but if you picked up the perk to decrease cast delay and recharge, the upgrade can also be a nerf 😬
is one of my favourite mods, no joke. I love to try modded playthroughs where I never change the wands I'm using or the projectiles on them, and it works because of just how versatile the equipment is.
The weapons and projectiles are well balanced and look great, and they all have their own purposes. The way they all work allows me to mesh together the weapons and quickly switch back and forth to dispatch enemies at all ranges cleanly and effieciently in a way I have never experienced, that leaves me feeling like a pro because of how I can chain together the different weapons. I can do trickshots with the grenade launcher, snipe and disable with the pulse cannon, make a gunner's getaway with the disruptor rifle and blast though anything with the shotgun, and I can flick between so easily, because of all their different strengths.
Point is, if someone asks for my favourite few Noita mods, this is up there.
2: As for locking weapons, like Varia's, I find I can still edit the locked/frozen wands, and Spell Lab may be able to override other locking methods. I don't know how it all works, but it may be an option.
3: New weapons that are upgraded versions, however you think is best to implement them.
I noticed that the Disruptor shots can impede themselves with high enough fire rate, not sure if that can be fixed. Some times happens with Spell Merge from... I want to say Goki's Things.
