Thermal Surge Planets

Description
Deep underground on these blazing worlds, sulphuric compounds combine with the ever-present molten rock creating a blue glowing lava. When this blue lava cools, it creates surgesulphur crystals. These blue glowing crystals often acummilate in large veins or onto growing trees.

Despite their beauty, these worlds hide a dark secret and are not for the weak.

This mod adds the Thermal Surge biome/planet, three natrually spawning blocks, and two craftable blocks (Tile IDs 7700-7704 used) .

You will need Futara's fullbright shader in get the trees and tiles to have fullbright parts.

That's true! Just thought I'd point it out regardless since it's inconsistent with vanilla planets and difficulty scaling

@noche
Planet tier and hazard statues have nothing to do (code-wise) with the star they spawn around.

This planet's generating in Radioactive and Frozen Stars despite being a tier 6 planet with the volcanic planet heat effect, seems odd to me.

@Zauberin Stardreamer

That's not a glitch I think, pretty sure I just only put those dungeons in the .Terrestrial file.
Zauberin Stardreamer Mar 1, 2023 @ 3:35pm
For some reason, every Thermal Surge planet has the exact same set of three dungeons: glitch castle, glitch underground complex, and USCM Prison. Always those three, never anything else.

@KP_SapphireMK2

I can't remember the name rn, but it's a craftable block from this mod. Should be craftable at the workbench

What is that block on the third image? And how did you get that?
