How To Destroy Destroyer Easily for the First Time

This is one of the good ways to destroy just need some farming and then ... You're God

What you need?

Basically... These are really simple things :

• Any kind of flying accessory (rocket boots ,wings , etc... ) just for dodging his lasers.
  
• Star veil (This will make you invincibile for more time if you need to pass through the Destroyer and it will give him some damage from falling stars )
  
• Nimbus Rod ... Well this is the most important thing.
  • How to get a nimbus rod you might be asking, right? No? Well i'll say it i don't care about your opinions.
    
  • The Nimbus rod is a rare drop from a angry nimbus ( 6.67% of chance to get it ) , the angry Nimbus is a mob that spawns in all biomes when it's raining ( it's also a rare mob ) so... When it rains, go grab your water candles and your battle potions and go on farming! It shouldn't take very long, only around 10-20 minutes, mabye 30 if you're unlucky.

• An arena that it's pretty far from your apartments or you'll get all your NPCs' slain ... Trust me, he'll wreck them all. It needs to be very high (due to the massive length of his body) so you can see him coming. A hunter potion might help with this, if you have any.
  
• Potions like swiftness , ironskin (must have , mana regen , a buff that increases all stats such as pho or bowl of soup, and magic power.
  
• Any other shooting weapon like the Magic dagger ( Yes i used this just because it pierces through the giant robo-worm , does good damage and has just a bit of mana consumption: 4-5 Mana per dagger)
  
• Last but not of bad substance it's a cobalt shield ... Yes it's one of the most useful accessories that you'll ever get for wrecking down the Destroyer: This thing basically has a lot of knockback so if you use a cobalt shield or an obsidian shield, you're pretty okay because you're immune to knockback.
• (Birdy) After you've killed the Destroyer, go ahead and collect your loot! If you are on softcore I would recomend just making a hallowed tool or a repeater (if you're into repeaters for some reason) or gungnir, if you use that. I would not recomend making excalibur, since by that point you should have cutlass, which does more damage, continuous swing and can change direction. Use that hallowed tool and go get yourself some chlorophyte! Those souls of might? You should probably make a megashark for skeletron prime and the twins.

The Arena

The arena it's the easiest thing just a 4-5 Floors of platforms wide like 50-60 and you're pretty much okay ...
Just make it far from your apartments like i said and in a pretty high place

Let's wreck!

Okay now that you have everything, let's wreck this baby down!
The plan is this :

• You place clouds at your sides so you deal 100 Damage for the 2 clouds 100 damage every 0.3-0.5 seconds
  
• Hit him with some other ranged weapons that deal good damage like the Magic Dagger
  
• When the probes separate from his body the clouds will kill them but they will may escape easily so try to shoot at them and collect the mana stars and hearts so you don't need to use mana potions and reduce the damage. (Birdy) A cobalt sword or phasesaber might help with the probes since they are continous swing and can change direction without stopping.

Done? Good! Now you can farm how much you want! Make yourself Hallowed things n' stuff and sell all the things you don't need

I fought destroyer blindly i threw my clouds randomly in my arena and used one of my guns to hit him eventualy there was so manny probes i died horribly. This helped alot i finaly beat him
