We Have Been Greenlit!
Kajo is a first-person platformer that takes the player on a journey through a mystical floating city.

Players master free-running techniques and complete levels to advance through the game, revealing new paths and maneuvers that are quicker and more effective than others. Many tracks will lead to different places, making the experience change with every playthrough.

Taking inspiration from classic platforming games of the past, the challenging levels can be mastered to achieve the fastest competitive time through levels. Kajo rewards players for speed, flexibility, and creativity.

Movement in Kajo is based around simple maneuvers. Slide, jump, climb, grab, vault, and wall-run through varying environments. All of these motions can be used freely on any terrain in the game. Creatively combine techniques to achieve even higher speeds!

Each of Kajo’s simple movements has a level of depth and complexity to using it well, and stringing maneuvers together can result in crazy speeds or finding new shortcuts!
In addition, there are also pieces of the environment the player can use: high-jump platforms, speed-boost gates, ziplines, and more!

Planned Features:

- Many varied levels and interesting environments to explore

- Elegant and deep movement mechanics that are easy to learn

- Branching paths that lead to alternate routes and hidden levels

- Online leaderboards for every individual level - 'Time Trials'

- Online leaderboards for your best game completion time

- Controller Support

I just can't stop myself from saying: The Game

Guess the lack of interest scared the devs away, wouldn't hurt to have the prototype downloadable from the official page though. The Lemma's demo was lots of fun, so what little was made for Kajo might be enjoyable too.

Just noticed that last comment is before Greenlit status, that's kinda sad. I voted but generally stopped coming to all of gl some time ago, too much going on here was giving me headaches. And when I look at it- it's like a party where noone showed up, giving the impression that all who voted didn't really care.
Well I didn't really know that the party was being held however, but I remembered voting for it all that time, and I still like attempts at ME cloning, so I can give an awkward "congratulations guys" a year later.

I loved the dlc for Mirror's edge; couldn't get enough of it and I always get excited when I see games like this. The gameplay seems nice; it looks like you guys took out fall damage and all that nonsense, but I'm not entirely sold on the level design.

The visual style is cool and I'm hankering for a mirror's edge type platformer. Gimme dat Kajo

Why do the hands look EXACTLY like the ones in Mirror's Edge? This seems very suspicious.
