This is now functional. There are still some things that need fixing, but it works well enough at this point. There will be continued additions and fixes. Enemies in this mod only spawn on planets. The idea is the NPCs are trying to keep you on the planet, and make life generally difficult for you to get off the planet.

Modular Encounters System based NPC mod.

This mod uses Lord Wiader's Tiered Systems (LWTS) in order to allow drones to scale up as players scale up. Passing a threat level will cause drones to spawn with Tier 2 blocks, pass another and drones will spawn with Tier 3 blocks, up to Tier 5. Higher Tiers provide longer range weapons, higher damage, better thrusters, etc. LWTS IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE DEPENDENCY LIST OF THIS MOD, you will need to add it manually. There is a link below to the LWTS Mod. I've done this so people who don't want to use LWTS can still use this mod.

While you can still use this mod if you don't use LWTS the drones will not scale as well into the late game since they will continue to use vanilla weapons, thrusters, etc. They do become a bit more dangerous based on some behaviors but they will be far more deadly with the LWTS mod enabled.

Also, this mod has turned into a mod specific to a scenario. You can still use it to spawn in enemy drones and buildings that will scale with LWTS however, there will be a couple minor things in the mod that don't work or don't make a whole bunch of sense if you're using it outside of the scenario. Not a big deal and ignore any coordinates listed as nothing will be there.
