Out Now on Steam!
Release Date!
Release date: 21st May 2014
Ever wanted to punch a bear IN THE MOUTH?

FIST OF AWESOME asks the eternal question "what would happen if bears took over the world?" and answers it with the epic tale of a lumberjack travelling through time punching bears in the face to save humanity.

If you like bear puns then you're in for a treat. If you also like games like Streets of Rage, Double Dragon and Final Fight then sit down, pour a scotch, and get ready for the greatest time-travelling-lumberjack-em-up of all time.

It's ready to go on PC & Mac, and if there's sufficient demand I'll be happy to crank out a Linux version.

Key Features:
  • A lumberjack who travels through time punching bears in the face to save humanity
  • Develop Award Nominated soundtrack by Brendan Ratliff aka Echolevel
  • Okay-ish pixel graphics
  • An impawsible number of bear-themed puns
  • USB & Bluetooth controller support
  • Like Streets of Rage, but with more bears

The game is mostly the work of one person, Nicoll Hunt, or as I like to call him, me. It features an incredible original soundtrack by Brendan Ratliff aka Echolevel aka Syphus. It's worth getting the game for the soundtrack alone, it's really phenomenally good.

You can buy FIST OF AWESOME this very instant at Humble Store:

And the magnificent soundtrack is out now on Bandcamp:

It's my pleasure to come to you, faceless guardians of the Internet, with my cap in hand asking very respectfully you allow this beastly game entry to the hallowed Palace of Steam.

Lots of love,

Nicoll x

Humans: "Lets make a game where you punch bears as a time travelling lumberjack" I have seen stranger ideas on the internet, but I think this is the most beautifully strange and lumber-jacked up as things get. I might not buy it, but it is still funny.

This is dumb... and that is probably why I like it so much.
