Timing Battle Tactics Mod v1.0

Description
The 'Timing Tactical Battle' mod for Total War: Shogun 2 increases the lenght of battles and the importance of tactical manouvres. With an increase in unit morale, battles will last longer and units will continue fighting even when higher losses occur. This increases battle time as well as the amount of casualties that may occur. The 'Timing Tactical Battle' mod also decreases the unit walk, run and charge speeds with -33% for each unit type. This increases the importance of tactical manouvres as the player will face grim consequences if the manouvres were wrong, as it takes more time to correct failed manouvres. This also rewards well placed manouvres as the opponent will not be able to quickly counter your tactical moves. These are the only changes with this mod. All else of vanilla will remain in tact, including the unit balance and other variables.

Hi Francesco, you can use the mod and adapt it to include any other how you like, of course! Good to hear you like the change in tacts and I think the modifications you discuss also add value to the battles of Shogun 2: Total War.

I was looking for a mod focused on the following aspects of the gameplay (that I find somewhat lackluster in the vanilla game):
1) movement speed of all units;
2) slower units melees and consequentially longer battle duration.

I fund 2 mods that I thnk are good canditades for solving the above issues: your mod and "Longer Land Battles Mod".

Your mod deals primarly with "units movement speed" and "base morale", the other mod doesn't touch "unit movement speed" at all (and in that I found it missing for my taste) but modifies "base hit chance" and "base armor penetration" values, as well as "base morale".
Moreover, to compensante for longer total battle duration, it also modifies the "base fatigue" development of units.

I have the feeling that combining some aspects of both mods will hit the "sweet spot".

I like your take on a realistic/strategic battles mod. Makes battles a bit slower and require more strategy but keeping it deadly like in the original game. Nice work ^-^
