Description
Requires Buu342's Weapon Base 2 to work.

This addon contains a collection of weapons from ID Software's 2012 game RAGE, recreated as faithfully as possible to the original game, with c_hands.

Contains the following weapons, upgrades, and ammo types:
  • Authority Machinegun - Pulse Rounds, BFG Rounds
  • Authority Pulse Cannon - Laser Sight, MG Rounds, AV2x Rounds
  • Combat Shotgun - Shotgun Extender, Buckshot, Pulse Shot, Pop Rockets
  • Double Barrel Shotgun - Monocle, Buckshot, Pulse Shot, Pop Rockets
  • Nailgun - Nails, Rebar, Railgun Slugs
  • Rocket Launcher - HE Rockets, Viper Rockets
  • Settler Assault Rifle - Concentrator, Stabiliser, Steel Rounds, Feltrite Rounds,
  • Settler Pistol - Monocle, Pistol Rounds, Fatboys, Killbursts, Fat Mammas
  • Sniper Rifle - Auto-Loader, Sniper Rounds
  • Striker Crossbow - Steel-tipped Bolts, Electro Bolts, Mind Control Bolts, Dynamite Bolts

FAQ
Q: I need more ammo.
A: Spawn it in the Q menu's Entites->RAGE tab

Q: How do I switch ammo types?
A: Make sure you have the key bound, it's N by default. Go to your Q menu->Options->RAGE Client Settings, and bind the key. Alternatively, change the value of cl_buu_rage_ammobutton in your console.

Q: How do I use Wingsticks?
A: Pick one up from the entities tab. Make sure you have the throwing key bound, it's G by default. Go to your Q menu->Options->RAGE Client Settings, and bind the key. Alternatively, change the value of cl_buu_rage_wingstickbutton in your console.

Q: Wow I remember that RAGE had some really bad texture popping, but after that the textures looked fine. Why are these so blurry?
A: I scaled down the textures, because the originals made this mod 1GB in size. No one wants to join a server that forces them to download 1GB just for 10 weapons. If you want the uncrunched textures, subscribe to this addon.

Q: Will you add things like the RC Bomb Car or the Advanced Wingsticks?
A: Probably not. You never know

A: Buy me the game and a PC that can play it.

A: No. I'm fine with taking suggestions but don't ask me to make stuff for you. I have my own projects and things to do, and making something for someone I've never met for no incentive whatsoever is not one of them. I am perfectly fine with adding additional content to my current work, however.

is it possible to make it so the bind for throwing a wingstick could be a console command, id love to be able to use wingsticks with artics radial binds, love the mod by the way, one of the better put together weapon mods out there:er_heart:

@Gamer It's meant to stay in that pose because you're hip firing, that's not gonna change. As for the third person scope, I'll see what I can do but no promises when I'll get around to it. My SWEP base is not designed for third person, and Garry's Mod is not a priority for me.

Here's what I mean; in the first screenshot, it's the "shotgun holding animation" that I don't want, while in the second screenshot, it has the "assault rifle holding animation" that I want when viewed from third-person, but the "aim down sight" effects are what ruins the screenshot that I want to take (it also zooms in from where the camera is already placed in as you can notice from the second screenshot despite the camera being placed in the exact same position in both screenshots):

I have also searched for help on Reddit to replace the overall "shotgun holding animation" with the "assault rifle holding animation" in case it maybe matters but nobody there helped:

1. Can you make the Authority Machine Gun have the normal "assault rifle holding animation" rather than the "shotgun holding animation" when viewed from third-person without having to aim down sight (I get that this animation is supposed when transitioning from when aiming down sight, but I just don't like the third-person "shotgun holding animation", it feels like a "joke pose" rather than something "serious". I would not only be "fine" with removing the "shotgun holding animation", but would also WANT it to be replaced, effectively making no difference in the player's third-person animations when aiming down sight or not)?

2. Is there currently any way to hide the "aim down sight" crosshair when viewing from a third-person camera? If not, can you add it?

Hello! Sorry for the late reply (so much life troubles and stuff), but here's what I meant in the previous comment:

Notice how in the first screenshot, there is no muzzle flash from the weapon's muzzle, only flashes in the ground (because it is in third-person), while in the second image, there is a muzzle flash (because it is in first-person).

Aha. Although I don't feel they're natural, but no problem.

Also another thing in case you can "fix" it because I personally don't feel that it's natural; when using any of these weapons and switching to third-person, there are no muzzle flashes when you shoot with them (the Authority Machine Gun at least since that's what I mostly use), there are only brown effects "around" (and not "from") the playermodel and not the gun itself.
