Kuun Lan from Homeworld: Cataclysm

Description
My attempt at re-creating the Kuun Lan mining vessel/mothership from the game 'Homeworld: Cataclysm'.

It features 8 refineries, 4 assemblers, 8 large storage containers, and precisely placed & configured gravity generators to give most of the ship a ~0.5G gravity field. There's also a section under the hangar module that has reversed gravity for docking ships too large to enter the hangar.

Update 2014/04/12:
Reworked the almost every part of the ship. The cockpit now has a huge panoramic window which should allow for a decent first-person perspective whilst manoeuvring the ship. Two of the large reactors have been removed (400MW was kinda overkill) & the rotating tumbler section has now been made stationary and houses 12 small backup reactors. Many of the thrusters have been reworked to use large thrusters for better manoeuvring.

I've left in the originally published version of the Kuun Lan; it has a beacon marking it as the Faal Corum (for those of you who know your Homeworld: Cataclysm lore, you should recognise the name as the sister-ship predecessor to the Kuun Lan). There is also another, intermediate design of the Kuun Lan that I decided to leave in for reference purposes.

Update 2014/08/27:
I recently realised that it's been a while since I first published this ship, so I went through it again, updating it to make use of the new conveyor system. Now all of the refineries, cargo containers, assemblers and turrets are linked in to the conveyor system. The array of small reactors inside the 'tumbler' are still independent (I think of them as backups to the main reactors).

Update 2018/07/08:
After a comment that the world file was not loading, and with a very helpful suggestion from commenter jokerace45 I was able to load and update the world file, which is now updated to the latest save format and should now load as intended.

And... updated.

@jokerace45: Thanks for that. While the toolbox didn't directly fix the problem it did point me to a couple of lines of code in the sandbox.sbc file that seem to have been the problem.

I was able to load the file into the game, it updated to the latest file format, and now I've updated the workshop file.

I'm hoping that'll make the file work for everyone. Please let me know if there are any more issues.

@vanguardian1: Sorry dude, I've not played Space Engineers for quite a while. Just tried to load my Kuun Lan and I get the same error. I've had a quick look at the files for the world I have saved on my PC (located in %APPDATA%\Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Saves\...) but can't see anything obvious wrong. I suspect that the game has changed so much since I created the ship that the file is simply no longer compatible.

I wish I had better news. For now I'm going to add a note explaining that the file is probably incompatible with the current version of the game. If anyone wants to take a crack at fixing it, you have my permission to upload any fixed version you come up with. I'd just ask that you credit me with the original & let me know so that I can add a link to your version in this upload's description.

Is there any way to get this world working on the newer version of the game? I've tried deleting/re-downloading it and it just says it's corrupted when I try to load a game with this world. >.<

Can I scuttle bottom part of the ship like in Cataclysm? ;3

Do you plan on upgrading it further to the newest version of Space Engineers ? I may even suggest if you do get this done to republish it for the Exploration area that way it can be put into server games.
