How to get widescreen working(NOT WORKING EMAIL DEVS)

Obscure has no damn widescreen its annoying.
The devs have not said anything so far so this is how you fix it your self.

Heres what you need to do

Alright guys 5 steps

1.Go into your Obscure 2 game files in your C: drive.
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Obscure2

2. Find "VideoResolution" in the options file.

3. To modify your resolution (in HEX) e.g. 1600x900 is "6400384" or 1680x1050 is "690041a"

[1600 = 640 ; x = 0 ; 900 = 384 => 1600x900 = 6400384]

4.So go through this list of hex numbers and find your resolution.
Take your resolution numbers 1920x1080 find the hex values and put a zero between them (8002) 0(3804)= 800203804

5. Replace the Video Resolution Value in the options file with your hex number.
So for 1920x1080 it would look like

EDIT: The fix is to open Regedit and go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\MRS and delete the Obscure2 folder then the game will launch. So it seems this widescreen fix will not work at all with the Steam version and all we can do is keep messaging the developers until they add the widescreen that was advertised. THIS WORKS YAY!

Did this before your post and reinstalled the game 3 times, still no way...
I tried delete the config xml, even i deleted the config data in steamcloud.... :(
Im so mad atm.... I would apreciate your help if i can run again this game
