How to fight bots on 2fort as Engineer

Within this guide you will find every step that you need to do before getting ready to fight the bots on 2fort
it is important to mention that this works best when servers are completely infested with bots

English.

Loadout

The first and most important step to combat bots is your loadout, with the correct items you can maximize performance against bots, and it works better if your loadout has stranges so you can farm some kills/points on them.

Primary weapon

Not much to say here, you can use almost any shotgun if you please, but be that the shotgun is the weapon that you will use the least

My recommendation would be the Rescue ranger to repair your sentry from distance when you need to.

Secondary Weapon

In this weapon slot you will only use The Wrangler, as the bots don't walk into the sentries line of sight
you will use this weapon to kill them when you see them coming.

Melee Slot

The wrench is one of the key elements of fighting bots, with it you will repair your sentries only
You should never, under any circumstances use your wrench to kill a bot, unless you know you can one-shot them.

You can use pretty much any wrench here, although it's better to use The Jag or Stock Wrench

Buildings

Your buildings are going to do everything for you, so make sure they are at full health!
in the following images i will show you where to place your buildings for maximum performance against the bots, and the best part is that Ally engies can place their buildings right next to yours!

Make an impenerable wall of sentries and stop those filthy bots to steal your intel.

Building Construction Order

POV: you just entered a 2fort match full of bots, what are you going to do?

Well the first thing you want to build is your trusty Sentry Gun
Right after that is the Dispenser
And then the Teleporters

This might seem obvious but it's important to know the order of buildings

Building Placement

This is a key part that you need to know to properly fight the Bots
now that you know the Building Construction Order, i will show you where to put your buildings.

Sentry Gun

This is the most important building, and the one that is going to allow you to kill any bots, while also tanking all the damage that the bots make.

Right away when you connect to the match, you want to put your sentry on this position.

This will prevent the bots to walk towards your Spawn and Intel, making your spawn a safe place to Upgrade your Buildings

once you have placed the Sentry Gun in that position, you want to upgrade it to level 3
this is to prevent Shoppy/Braaaap bots(Heavies) to destroy your Sentry Gun easily.

Once you have upgraded your Sentry Gun, start to build a Dispenser right away, doesn't matter the placement as long as is in front of your spawn, then proceed to upgrade it to level 3.

Once you have your Dispenser upgraded to level 3, you will move it to this location:

Then quickly proceed to move your Sentry Gun to this location:

Once you have done that ,Make sure that no Bots are coming towards You, they will normally come from Sewers

Teleporters

Once you've made sure that no Bots are coming, you can place your teleporters in the following locations:

Now that we have discussed about the placement of all the Buildings, is important to tell you that your Dispenser Should be in the right distance to Heal you and refill your Metal, as you are going to need a lot to repair/refill ammo of your Sentry Gun

Fighting the bots

Now that you have learned where you should put your buildings, and the loadout you need to use

the time has come to fight the Bots

Path that they use

With the buildings on place they will normally go in the following path:

Spawn>Bridge>Your Lobby>Detect Your Sentry Gun>Water>Your Sewers

Once you start encountering them you need to know how to fight only 2 classes.

Heavy Bots

Heavy bots are mostly known as Braaaap Bots
They will shoot to any enemies they find, and of course you want to keep your distance from them, since being close to them means death.

It is also important to mention that Braaaap Bots Will attack Enemy teleporters first and then they will attack you, of course if you are more close to them than the teleporters, they will shoot you instead.

I haven't seen many of them votekicking someone.

(Update) they somehow got dumber than before, but i did saw them with a medic bot

Sniper Bots

Sniper Bots can have many names, so i will make a small list of them:

*Impersonator bots (They will steal your name, but not your pfp)
*Bot rolled bots (They will inmediately votekick someone(Most of the time is the top fragger) and start micspamming and spamming messages

(Update) Most of the sniper bots are gone now.

The Sniper bots are by far the most dangerous ones, they will not attack teleporters and One-shot you if you stand still or have a predictable path, they sometimes miss shots.

The strategy against them is to crouch and hide behind your sentry, meanwhile you shoot them with The Wrangler


One last tip, you should always be aiming on the sewers with your Wrangler because you'll never know when a bot is coming.

Equipamento

El primer y mas importante paso para poder combatir los bots es con tu equipamento, con los objetos correctos puedes maximizar tu eficacia en contra de los bots, y funcionaran mejor si tienes un arma de aspecto raro, ya que podras aumentarle los puntos al arma/vestimenta.

Arma Primaria

No hay mucho que decir aqui, puedes usar casi cualquier escopeta si te parece, pero ten en cuenta que la escopeta es una de las armas que casi no utilizaras.

Mi recomendacion seria utilizar la Rescatadora para reparar tu Centinela desde lejos.

Arma Secundaria

En este espacio solo vas a utilizar El Arreo, ya que los bots no caminaran en el rango de vision de tu centinela

Utilizaras esta arma para poder matarlos cuando los veas venir.

Arma Melee

Tu llave inglesa es una de las herramientas clave para combatir los bots, con ella repararas tus centinelas, Bajo ninguna circumstancia deberas utilizar tu llave inglesa para matar a un bot, a no ser que sepas que el bot morira del golpe.

Aqui puedes utlizar casi cualquier llave inglesa, pero es mas recomendable utilizar el Manitas o la Llave inglesa.

Construcciones

Tus Construcciones haran todo por ti, asi que asegurate de que siempre esten curadas.

en las siguientes imagenes te mostrare donde colocar tus Construcciones para maximizar la eficacia contra los bots, y lo mejor es que tus Ingenieros Aliados pueden ayudarte o colocar su centinela al lado de la tuya!

Haz una muralla impenetrable de Centinelas y deten a esos sucios Bots de robar tu Dosier

Orden de Construccion

POV: Entraste a una partida en 2fort llena de bots, que haras?

Bueno lo primero que vas a construir es tu confiable Centinela
Luego de eso construiras tu Dispensador
y por ultimo tus Teletransportadores

Esto parecera obvio, pero es importante saber el order de construccion .

Locacion de Construcciones

Esta es una parte importante que necesitas saber para poder combatir a los Bots
Ahora que sabes el Orden de construccion, te mostrare donde colocar tus construcciones.

Centinela

Esta es tu Construccion mas importante, ya que es la que te permitira matar a los Bots, mientras se lleva todo el daño que estos hagan.

Lo primero que haras al conectarte a una partida, es colocar tu centinela en esta posicion.

Esto evitara que los bots caminen hacia tu punto de aparicion y tu inteligencia, haciendo efectivamente. tu punto de aparicion seguro para Mejorar tus Construcciones

Una vez que hayas colocado tu Centinela en esa locacion, vas a mejorarla hasta nivel 3, esto es para prevenir que los Bots Shoppy/Braaaap destruyan tu Centinela con facilidad.

Una vez hayas mejorado tu Centinela, Comienza a construir un Dispensador inmediatamente, la locacion no importa por ahora, con tal de que sea al frente de tu punto de aparicion, una vez colocada mejorala a nivel 3.

Una vez hayas mejorado tu Dispensador mejorado hasta nivel 3, muevelo hasta esta posicion:

Y rapidamente, mueve tu Centinela hacia esta posicion:

Una vez hayas hecho esto, asegurate que no hay Bots yendo hacia tu posicion, ellos normalmente vendras desde las alcantarillas.

Teletransportadores

Una vez te hayas asegurado que no hay bots en la zona, puedes colocar tus teletransportadores en estas posicion:

Dispensador

Ahora que ya discutimos sobre las posiciones de todas tus Construcciones, es importante que te mencione que tu Dispensador debe estar en rango para Curarte tu rellenar tu Metal ya que necesitaras mucho, para Reparar/Rellenar municiones de tu Centinela.

Luchando contra los bots

Ahora que sabes donde colocar tus Construcciones, y el Equipamento que necesitas.
Ha llegado la hora de luchar contra los Bots

El camino que usan

Con tus Construcciones puestas en su lugar, los bots utilizaran este camino:

Su punto de aparicion>Puente>Tu Lobby>Detectaran tu Centinela>Aguas>Tus alcantarillas

Una vez que comiences a encontrartelos solo necesitaras saber como luchar contra 2 clases.

Bots de armas pesadas

Estos bots son mejores conocidos como Braaaap Bots

Ellos dispararan al primer enemigo que este mas cerca de ellos, esto naturalmente sugiere que no debes estar cerca de ellos o moriras.

Es importante mencionar que los bots Braaaap atacaran primero a los teletransportadores y luego a ti, a no ser que tu estes mas cerca de ellos que los teletransportadores, en ese caso te dispararan a ti.

No he visto muchos de estos bots votando para sacar a alguien de la partida

(Actualizacion) de alguna manera se han vuelto mas estupidos, aun que les he visto con un bot medico

Bots Francotiradores

Los Bots Francotiradores Tienen muchos nombres, asi que hago una pequeña lista:

*Ladrones de identidad bots (Robaran tu nombre, mas no tu foto de perfil.)
*Bot rolled bots (Estos inmediatamente votaran para sacar a alguien de la partida(La mayoria del tiempo es la persona que este en primer lugar) y comenzaran a reproducir musica y spamear mensajes.)

(Actualizacion) Ya no hay muchos sniper bots.

Los Bots francotiradores Son por mucho, los mas peligrosos ya que estos no atacaran a tus teletransportadores y te dispararan, muchas veces resultando en una muerte segura si te quedas parado, o tienes caminas de manera predecible, a veces ellos fallan sus disparos.

La estrategia contra ellos es agacharse, y esconderte detras de tu Centinela, mientras les disparas con El Arreo

Un ultimo consejo, siempre deberias estar apuntando hacia la salida/entrada de las alcantarillas con tu Arreo ya que de ahi saldran los bots.
