New Video + MOD SUPPORT!
Blood Particles System Tech Demo
Hello everyone and welcome to "SixtyGig!" An open-world RPG based about 140 years in the future.

Overview of current planned features:
- Huge map in the future, hopefully roughly the same as a decently sized MMO. 100% Open world. Play how you want, where you want.
- Price model, probably under $10USD.
- "Modernized" Retro Graphics. Meaning I am keeping the Retro "look", but I want to add some modernized features, in a retro way.
- Very Western-RPG style with tons and tons of dialog, think "Baldur's Gate" when it comes to inventory management, stores, etc.
- Everything you do influences how everyone else in the world will react to you. For example, if your reputation with group A increases, it might decrease with B. So you have to decide who you want to interact with and how you want to play in the game.
- Fully customizable characters. Every bit of gear you put on is viewable on your character.
- Action-Turn Based Combat, very strategy heavy. Leaning more on the "Turn Based Game" combat than the action.
- Much more, but thats hush hush for now until I have more solid information to give you!

If you'd like a link to the latest build, just ask me on Steam or on my livestream (Line below). Currently I'm more or less working on the engine itself, the gameplay is basically non-existent. But if you want to fiddle around with what I have so far, I will happily provide a free copy.

Finally: I am live streaming almost every moment of the development process, so if you're interested in watching just follow the link below. I love to chat with people while I work, gives me motivation!

Hey Ray, I was wondering if you had any plans for the soundtrack on this game?

I have a few tracks I can send you as a reference.

This already looks a lot better than some of the stuff posted in the Greenlight section. Good job. Keep it up.

haha, I'll no doubt be adding clothes eventually. The animation you see in the video is just an incomplete version, the latest version of the game has an 8-frame animation character (One in the video is only 4) but he isn't quite complete yet. I plan to add animations for diagonal movement, as well as animations for standing, shooting, melee, dying and probably a few things I forgot to list. But animation is a painfully slow process.

Once the main character (male and female) is completely animated, I'll start working on clothing. In the game, you can mix and match clothes, everything you equip is viewable on your character. Thus, I have to completely animate the naked characters first before I can animate the clothes that will eventually cover them. :)

The latest version of the game puts the video to shame, I can't wait to show it. Problem is, I want to finish animating the male character first before I record another video.
