Mod Description
A well-built but little-known ship, the Venator-class Star Destroyer Mark II served as an intermediary design between the Venator Mark I and the later Imperial class. It was more of a test-bed to try out new design ideas than as a dedicated warship of the Republic. Only a handful of the ships were manufactured before the Clone Wars ended and the new Empire began construction on the Imperial Star Destroyers.

Originally conceived as a powerful carrier for Victory 1 Star Destroyers, but was quickly disregarded for that role for an actual carrier based off of the victory. called the Gladiator-class Star Destroyer, it was Initially designed by Walex Blissex for action during the Clone Wars as part of the victor initiative project.

The Venator Mark II would reflect many of the design choices that would soon be commonplace in the Empire. Although more heavily armed and armored, the Venator II still dedicated most of its resources as a carrier-type ship. It held fewer fighters than the Mark I to make room for the increased power, but still managed to support an impressive 17 squadrons. Like the Mark I, it carried little, if any, ground troops for surface attacks.

There are still a few Mark II Venators that survive in the present day Empire, but because of their rarity most don’t see active service. At least one notable example has become a museum ship orbiting Kuat.

Questions & Answers
Q: Does this do anything?
A: No, its just a prop to help bring those star wars scenarios to life

Q: Does it have an interior ?
A: yes. full hanger bay, a 4 story complex at the bow with many rooms, and a small complex near the stern for launching escape pods. all fully walled and floored to prevent clipping and allow usage of AI

Q: Why is it spawning all broken up?
A: You need to click off Vertical Mode & Surface Snapping before spawning any comp, click the first link in the description, there's a section in the first part in the yellow box that'll show you what the button looks like.

Q: How do i find it in game?
A: It's not a mod so it wont show in your launcher. in the editor you need to press the groups key or F2 then click on the composition icon. click the second link in the description and watch the first video to see what those icons look like. ( the video is of him saving the comp but the location is the same )

Q: How do i lower the ray shields from the outside?
A: I added a single Nu A class shuttle with a script in it's innit box that allows it to lower the ray shields. copy and paste the script in any aircraft you want this ability for. makes it easier for round trips and allows rebels a way to get past the shields if they can capture it.

Q: Whats mod is the maps from?
A: Pandora

Q: Do i need ace and task force radio radio
A: No, though you will get error messages and some clone assets wont work without it like the pov visor, they are not needed for this ship

Q: What game are those in last pic's from
A: Game: Star Wars: Empire at War: Forces of Corruption, Mod: Star Wars Battlefront Commander (pre 2020 update) the pics are just there for comparison.

Q: Why the 2 models?
A: Honestly i just liked them both, and seeing as the venator 2 was just a test bed i figured it made sense that some would have the older venator 1 style engines and some would have the newer victory style engines. the victory 1 style engines also help it fit in more with imperial ship designs

Known Bugs & Issues
- I hate how the bridge looks. i did it this way to keep parts down, but i do plan to come back at some point to make a better looking Victory 1 style bridge (i have come back, update soon)

I fixed it thank you, My dumbass still had the clipping and all that off when I was placing it down so it wasn't snapping it to the hangar floor lol

Is there anyway to set ships in the hangar without their engines activating then flying up before settling back down when I start the mission to play test it?

because it has full interior, cant recall what each one if for but basically half are for the outside, half for the inside

why so many mods? i know this is like scripted and has a full interior but why so many? (definently a problem for me because i definently dont already have all the mods downloaded)

I need help spawning it game in Eden editor I can't find it in props.

you may just need to restart your game/ launcher, also keep in mind this is a comp not a mod so it wont show in your launcher.
