How to get access to Open Beta program

This guide explains how to become a Beta tester and get access to new updates before everyone else!

If you follow us since Dealer’s Life, you might know that our habit is to release new content very frequently. For those of you who want to know in advance what’s new in the following update, we created a Open Beta program in which you can play new versions of the game before we publicly release them!

How can you join the Open Beta you say? Here’s how to do it!

First thing to do is to get into your Steam game library, right click on Dealer’s Life and select "Properties".



Now, in the "Properties" window, do you see that “BETAS” section on the left? Click it and there you just have to select the Open Beta program from the drop-down menu and you’re done!



From now on Dealer’s Life 2 name will appear with a “[beta]” tag in your games library and, if a new Beta version is available, it will automatically update through the "Downloads" section with the latest Beta version, so you’ll always have access to new content as soon as it is ready to be tested!

If you know that a Beta is available but you see no updates, just restart Steam and it will update its cache which will show you the available update in the "Downloads" section.
Remember that you can always check your game version on the upper left corner in the main menu to be sure of the version you are playing!

Of course these are Beta versions, so you may experience a bug. If that’s the case, please take some time to contact us and report what you experienced so we can fix it before the public release! Updated images with the new Steam UI :)

Steam has just changed the UI for the game properties so we have to update the image, but the thing is that you don't have to input a code, the Open Beta is always visible in the dropdown, just select it!

Codes are used only in closed groups, for example in my screenshot you can see our Closed Alpha :P
