Most tactics are map dependant and require a very high level of coordination, chances are good if you are playing hawken and need to read this guide then you cannot use VOIP and as such are out of luck in the coordination department. However if you DO have some method to communicate with your team here are a couple strategies which will help you rip the coveted AA away from the enemy or stop your opponents EU supply line. Two pronged attack-
This tactic requires 2 sniper classes(reaper or SS) wherein they cover the AA from front and back restricting how many places your opponent can withdraw. This is entirely dependant on both of your sniper classes being good at landing their shots, having situational awareness(i.e knowing where the enemy mechs are) and being decent enough to know when to take off running when the team turns to collapse on one of them.
While your snipers are picking away at them from multiple angles the majority of your team should be watching the AA like hawks, when one or two members of the opposing team break off to deal with your flanker your team needs to collapse on the AA like a stack of bricks crushing what is left of the opposition.Flank-
This tactic relies on the enemy team being greedy for kills and your flankers to be fast, amazing at CQC and ready to die for the team.
You send a hit squad behind the main force of the enemy on the AA while the primary friendly forces lay down suppressing fire. When the enemy team has been worn down and retreat to heal your flankers move in and pick off the repairing mechs while drawing the enemy fire to their position. As soon as the enemy turns, your team collapses on the enemy team again..like a stack of bricks.Baiting-
This requires a scout/Raider class who has balls of steel and is willing to die vigorously and painfully.
The Bait will prepare himself as best he can with the team waiting behind him. He will go walking out like a suicider and draw as much enemy fire as he can before popping his special and running like a bat out of hell. If this is working successfully the enemy team will collapse behind the fleeing member leaving their backs open for vigorous murdering by the remainder of your team. If the bait is very good at it he can draw the team into their own deaths handing you the AA for the cost of one guy.Indirect Bombardment-
This will require a rocketeer/grenadier combo and a lot of patience
The plan is to just chill, harass the enemy down using hellfires when they are in the open and a rev-gl GL combo when they dodge behind cover to whittle down the enemy enough for your team to collapse in and destroy the weak and low HP members of the enemy team. This will take ALOT longer but is much more sustainable than most other options as harassing fire and C mechs on the AA are both very hard to dig out.
