Description
An enormous CTF map for Quake Live - designed for a bare minimum of 16 players (8 v 8)
Suggested number of players is 32 (16 v 16)

* Designed primarily for actf gamemode (with grapples! and runes!)
* I am not kidding - it's enormous

Red & Blue bases separated by teleporters (inspired by Vortex Portal)

Weapons: Shotgun, Rocket launcher, Proximity mine launcher, Railgun, Chaingun

* Custom Models, shaders and textures
* Giant mushrooms!
* Bot play fully supported
* Open source! (map file included in PK3)

This map took over 3 months of my life and I consider it to be my magnum opus

Tips:

* Although initially seemingly huge and confusing, the colour-coded arrows will get you where you want to go - each base has only two entrances/exits (via portals)

* Work as a team - coordinate your attack. The button in the flag room will open the glass door and leave the flag open to attack from a squad via the main base entrance (big) teleporter

* There is a room behind the flag room which restores 10 health per second but be aware it will also heal enemy team members!

* Railgun is located in the exact centre of the map. You'll have to leave the base. FIGHT!

* 16 v 16 player games are outrageous fun but watch out for first-wave kamikaze bombers!

id software decided in their infinite wisdom that default Quake Live CTF behaviour is to have universal ammo_packs. You can test this for yourself by starting a new CTF game with the stock maps. Console cvar 'g_ammopack 0' will enable the classic ammo pack-per-weapon that we are all used to. The majority of online CTF servers have this cvar set, porting this map required placement of the relevant entities, so they can be toggled (mapping etiquette for QL)
