Original Description:
This allows you to light a fire by tossing a wood log. The Wood Log is consumed when used in this manner (another wood log spawns at the point of impact). This replaces the ability to use a wood log as a club.

I noticed that a drafted colonist will try to put out adjacent fires, so I made it so you can throw the log a couple of squares.


This mod overwrites the WoodLog definition and adds a definition for a Proj_GrenadeLitWoodLog. It will be likely be incompatible with other mods that change the behavior of wood logs.

This changes the early game balance by making it much easier to dispose of corpses and unwanted items.

I added a patch to replace the def-overwrite in the original version to increase compatibility.

I'm looking opposite of this mod. Enemy can't start fire randomly (ignite) things without molotov or any fire type weapon. They are exist for a reason, you can't just slap wood and make it burn. I mean yea campfire also a thing but I can justify with its construction time.

OK, so it works fine on my end. I did notice that the warmup time is really long, like 15 ticks. So, I reduced that to 5. I'm guessing maybe it was taking so long it felt like it wasn't working. But if you still have issues, let me know. It's probably a conflict with another mod in that case.

1.4 not working, attack time stays full and pawn doens't "shoot".

Attention: I will absolutely be updating all my mods to 1.3. I want to take the time to look at the new code first in order to make sure the code changes are implemented correctly for the new version, as well as make any balance changes, and to implement any relevant new features into my mods,

The upcoming week is going to be busy for me already as the busy season for my real job is just beginning and goes pretty heavy through the fall and holiday season. But I will try to find the time as soon as I am able. My goal is to have all my mods ready for the official release in a couple weeks.

note I will be maintaining support for 1.2 after the update to 1.3 but I a have already moved on from 1.1 or older, so, those versions will not be maintained unless they are naturally compatible.
