First Edition

Description
Fully playable version of my first game, First Edition, a set collection, auction-based game for 2 to 4 players. Currently in the play-testing stage.

You are the owner of a rare book store. As a dealer in luxury goods, you cater to the rich and famous, and competition for this small pool of clients is fierce. Indeed, your rich patrons are uninterested in buying individual volumes, and will only be induced to buy sets of books by the same author or from a distinct era.

However, in the competitive rare book scene, the owners of other stores will come to your store looking to purchase single volumes to complete sets of their own, making investments in single volumes another potentially profitable enterprise.

In First Edition, your goal is to build the most profitable business over the course of a year, which progresses through a series of events such as auctions and estate sales. To help you in this goal, it may behoove you to expand your business by hiring employees to help you seek out the best deals. The player with the most money at the end of the year wins the game. Happy book hunting!

Mechanics: Set Collection, Auction

Thanks for the tips, friends! I've done an update today on the mod itself as well as the description, etc.

I agree with @Bronkelfnatt -- more information would be very helpful. You can also edit the game information in TTS to say how many players there are, and how long the game takes to play. If you want feedback, you should add contact information in your rulebook as well.

You might want to describe what kind of game it is, to draw people in.
