Hello! Here I am, trying to condense the most useful information found around the web/forums I could muster as well as personal information gained by simply playing the game.

Also will be updated whenever I can with more information gathered.

Slowly working my way through as more new games to play happens, so...

◥ General Information ◤

Missables:

• "Saving the fairy" Matilda (the only quest in the game known so far you can fail to complete), Ruby, Tom, Red.
  
• Chico's fire (2nd) weapon. Payachin's 3rd weapon. Orowantus 3rd weapon.
  
• Payachin's grown up stage.
  
• Some gems?
  
• Items/chests/missables not gained during first run can be obtained on the next run (new game plus)

How to spot what difficulty you're on in the save menue:
no Diamond = Normal, 1 Diamond = Hard, 2 Diamond = Hard+NG
Max level is 60 for Normal, 70 for Hard, and 80 for Hard+NG
-NG+ Lv cap now raised to 99 immediately. (Patch 1.007)

Patch 1.009
-New equipment/mechanic type, Gems, added.
-New side quest added to acquire gems.
-"Well Equipped" achievement has been updated to include new Gem equipment.

Found out that you simply can't progress in Hard or that you simply suck?
A patch that was released (1.007) added an option to lower difficulty setting from Hard to Normal in the pause menu!
(or outlevel them by grinding since enemies scale based on number of missions done)

Combat too slow? Go into options and change the speed to 2x!

Remember that Loot left on the ground will not get automatically picked up when you win a battle!

You can only have ONE Curse OR Enchant active at any time on units.

Fall damage exists, pay attention to knockbacks both at offensive and defensive placement.

Payachin can/will evolve later on. Don't exactly remember the steps taken! Sorry!

As a general rule in this game, it seems, is to feed your units with kills in order to get the quests for their next weapons!

Super secret, shhh! Assisting Chico with Peony a few times during a battle makes Peony hug him!

When Pichon picks up a meat loot item, he gets a "Cripple" curse.
Probably because that Pichon is a "chicken" and that item is considered to be a "chicken leg"
Cannibalism bad.

Try to Subdue instead of killing any of the 3 gorgon sisters!

Have a Heart above head in some fights?
A succubus is somewhere around. Look for her and read her skills!

Level 5 is highest level obtainable on Scrolls. Usually can be obtained from the corresponding element you defeated. Crit kills have higher chance to get them to drop!

Found a "??? Free Battle"? Find out what it is at the Fae Talismans (Summons) [1] section!

Hunting for or want to check what enemies are on a certain map without advancing the day?
Simply enter the battle and go to menue and press Return to Map. You now know what kind of enemies will be on that map and on that day and can continue to look on other maps should you so desire. Works on Story! maps too! Except ofc if they are branded purple/pink'ish with a skull as starter.

Summoned Faery from enemy commanders can drop their summon card!

Teamwork scroll = Adds AoE (Area of Effect) to Assist Skills and the Tranquility Reaction Skill. +1 AoE, +2 AoE, +3 AoE per rank etc. Great for buffing or healing. Personally using it on Payachin. See pictures below for demonstration.



Healing spells can be used to revive downed characters!
Downed state as in the sense that the Red Hp bar is depleted and you're now on the Yellow bars before being defeated from the current fight.

Tip and Lore Print Screens, all 30 on each one!

Spd

= Makes you act faster. See bottom left corner with pictures of enemies, on those pictures are numbers shoown that determine order of turn, the higher the number, the faster you get to act.
+ You can use the command Delay from here on your currently active unit, moving him back in the que instead of pressing wait and ending his whole turn that round!

Something not really obvious but not really hidden: by changing weapon for leader characters, their speed would also change. While it might seem to be random, there are actually strict rules:

• Melee weapons have +2 speed compared to ranged.

Mb

= Mana Barrier (the (blue) bar below the Hit Points (red) bar) Also makes you recieve -50% damage or -75% if Enchanted with Song against non-crit attacks.

React/Reaction

= % chance to Counter/React to enemy attacks from side/front with your React ability.

Res

= % Resistance to not get hit by Curses or negative ailments.
Example. An enemy has 50 Res, you have a Spell that has 100% chance to succeed.
With the enemies 50 Res, the Spell now has 50% chance to succeed.

Apex

= Critical damage taken is converted to Normal damage. Prevents Def down. (has charges/durability to chip away before Apex is removed)

Free battles have different enemies, locations and treasures depending on the day!

Every day of the week has an element booster (aka lucky day) attached to it. Which gives minor stats increase. Everyone gets the boost. Yes, bosses, enemies and your own units.
-Lucky day no longer buffs units Atk. Patch 1.009

For those who have a 2nd monitor or like to play in windowed mode and can't be bothered to check every second what an element is strong or weak against.

Otherwise it can normally be found by:

Press (Space) ingame if you're playing with the Keyboard.
Press 　 (LT,Left Trigger) Ingame if you're playing with the Xbox Controller.
Press [N/A]  (N/A) Ingame if you're playing with the Playstation Controller.
Press [N/A]  (N/A) Ingame if you're playing with the Switch Controller.

Note about Camp skills: most skills which increase effectiveness stack additively, i.e. if one skill gives +100% and another +200% you get +300%.
The only exception is Glutton (Tom): it increases total by 50% after every other skills have been calcylated.
This means that if you use +200% and Glutton, you'll get total of (100+200)*1.5 = 450% (350% bonus).
Also, you can redo the minigame by closing game and reopening it without clicking "Done" button. It's useful if you want to get every scroll and trying to up your luck.

Devices (Craft and Upgrade)

Once you've obtained the Earthshaker for Peony at Dwarven Workshop, you may upgrade everything to rank 5.

Skills

Usually used by Waiting. Some Weapons/Characters have different Wait Abilities than their current element should have had.

• Aim: Increased Atk Range/Acc for next attack.
  
• Agility: Chance to Evade is increased for one turn.
  
• Arcane/Water/Earth Totem: Builds a random ally Mana Totem if no ally totem is present. Restock totem on kill.
  
• Electric/Fire/Earth Totem: Builds a random ally Mana Totem if no ally totem is present. Restock totem on kill.
  
• Wind/Ice/Water Totem: Builds a random ally Mana Totem if no ally totem is present. Restock totem on kill.
  
• Blessed: Recover 20% of Hp/Mb and removes Curses.
  
• Bonding: +10% Assist Power for the duration of the battle.
  
• Chain: Next attack gains Chain. Attacks may Chain to additional targets within a range of (3). (Max 3 Chain)
  
• Exploit: Next attack deals Critical damage against any target. (what about ice enchanted ones?)
  
• Harden: Recover 10% of Hp and gain +5 Def for the duration of the battle.
  
• Meditate: Recover 35% of Mb and gain +10 Res for the duration of the battle.
  
• Mend Wounds: Recover 45% of Hp. Recovery is increased if Cursed.
  
• Protector: Gains +20 Def and Guard Counters for allies within (3) spaces until next turn. Cannot guard against Ultra attacks. Prevents Push/Pull.
  
• Reflex: Gain +X% Reaction chance for one turn.
  
• Reinforce: +13 Max Mb.
  
• Shadow Step: Enchants self with Cloak.
  
• Snack: Creates random Food for one adjacent ally. (Self if no ally is within range)
  
• Sprint: +2 Mov for one turn.
  
• Sure Shot: Next attack has 100% Acc.
  
• Witch Ward: Changes depending on what day it is. Gives an Enchant to herself.
  
• Wrath: +7 Atk for the duration of the battle.

Patch 1.009
-New skill "Ballistics". Attacks will not trigger Reaction skills
-Units with high-speed bullet attacks now have Ballistics skill.
-New skill "Carapace". Greatly reduces back attack damage received. Unit can not evade.
-New skill "Iron Wall". Greatly reduces all non-back attack damage.

Reactions

Get hit. Give ♥♥♥♥. Doesn't activate if attacked in the back. Except if the unit are the victim of a multiattack, Then the 1st will only go completely through the Reaction Ability while the rest have a chance to trigger Reaction.

• Normal: Revenge. - Increases attack.
  
  
• Arcane: Return. - Returns projectile attacks. Curses are applied as if it was the same attack. In case of multi-hit attacks, only last one is returned.
  
  
• Electric: Static Shock. - X% Chance to shock attacker and Curse them with Cripple.
  
  
• Earth: Defend. - X% Chance to gain +X Def and block Curses when attacked.
  
  
• Fire: Counter. - X% Chance to counterattack enemies within range.
  
  
• Ice: Cold Snap. - X% Chance to release a Freezing blast. +7 Def.
  
  
• Water: Tranquil. - Recover Hp/Mb for leader and nearby allies. Radius increases with Teamwork.
  
  
• Wind: Parry. - X% Chance to block and counter melee attacks.

Assists

Can also be read at Tip 6
Normally tied to the element of the user, buuut ofc there's always exceptions to the rules.

• Barrier: Gains +X Max Mb. Enchanted with Song if Cursed.
  ( Increase Mb damage reduction to 75%. +50 Res. )
  
  
• Cleanse: Heals Hp. Enchanted with Regen if Cursed.
  ( Recovers some Hp each round. Immune to Burn. )
  
  
• Cloak: Enchanted with Cloak.
  ( Unit can't be targeted and increases Back Attack damage. Cloak is lost when dealing damage, taking damage or after 2 turns. )
  
  
• Dance: Enchanted with Dance.
  ( Evades ranged attacks. (Chance to lose Dance increases with each evade.) )
  
  
• Haste: Enchanted with Haste.
  ( +2 Move and +1 Spd. )
  
  
• Insipre: Enchanted with Inspire.
  ( Grants +20 Def and +15% Evd. )
  
  
• Ice Shell: Enchanted with Ice Shell.

Enchants

Can also be read at Tip 11 + Spell Talismans Section.

• Cloak Enchant: Unit can't be targeted and increases Back Attack damage. Cloak is lost when dealing damage, taking damage or after 2 turns.
  
  
• Dance Enchant: Evades ranged attacks. (Chance to lose Dance increases with each evade.)
  
  
• Double Edge Enchant: Greatly increases Atk based on current Hp. Next attack will deplete your own Hp.
  
  
• Ice Shell Enchant: Grants +15 Def and converts Critical damage taken to Normal damage. -20 Res.
  
  
• Inspire Enchant: Grants +20 Def and +15% Evd.
  
  
  
• Mana Burn Enchant: Attacks gain -5 Def on hit and a chance to crit on any target. Every 2nd attack for Arcane units and every 3rd attack for everyone else.
  
  
• Possess Enchant: +20 Def and some Mb regen. On death, Enchant nearest ally with Possess. -20 Res.
  
  
• Rage Enchant: Grants +40% Atk and +20% Reaction.
  
  
  
• Regenerate Enchant: Recovers some Hp each round. Immune to Burn.
  
  
  
• Song Enchant: Increase Mb damage reduction from 50% to 75%. +50 Res.
  
  
  
• True Sight Enchant: Attacks cannot be Evaded. Can target Cloaked units. Immune to Blind Curse.

• Blind Curse: -50% -80% Acc. Patch 1.009
  
  
  
• Burn Curse: Unit takes minor Fire damage each round that reduces Def by 5.
  
  
  
• Charm Curse: Mind control target unit to fight on your side. Cannot Charm Leader units.
  
  
  
• Cripple Curse: Attack Power reduced by 50%. -2 Spd.
  
  
  
• Freeze Curse: Unit can not perform actions and will take Critical damage from any attack. Freeze shatters if the unit is attacked.
  
  
• Haunt Curse: Deals Critical Arcane damage to self and adjacent allies at the start of the units turn.
  
  
• Petrify Curse: Unit can not perform actions and gains +20 Def.
  
  
  
• Poison Curse: Unit takes moderate Earth damage each round.
  
  
  
• Root Curse: Unit is unable to move or Evade. -1Spd.
  
  
  
• Silence Curse: Can't use Talisman when Silenced. Nullifies Mb and Auras.

Critical hits increases the chance to inflict Curses by 25%.
Note that some units have natural resistance to Curses.

 Aerial Units are resistant to Root.
     Arcane Units are resistant to Petrify.
     Earth Units are resistant to Poison.
     Fire Units are resistant to Burn.
     Ice Units are resistant to Freeze.

Stat Scaling information

Information voodoo stuff taken from Discord:

-Most stat scaling is based on the units Level. Many of these scaling values are capped at Level 60 which was the original soft level cap for the game. Other skills may not reach their cap until Level 99. (Note: minimum value of some scaling may be slightly increased for enemies on harder difficulties, but the maximum should be the same)

-(Leap) 1-10 Atk (Max at Level 99).
-(Melee defense bonus) 10-50 Def (Max at Level 99).
-(Agility) 20-50 Evd (Max at Level 60).
-(Reflex) 20-50 React(Max at Level 99).
-(Reinforce) 3-20 Mb (Max at Level 99).
-(Wrath) 3-10 Atk (Max at Level 99).
-(Auras) Auras are not standardized. Most enemies/summons have a base aura value and scaling multiplier linked to the units Level.
-(Earth **Assist**) 5-30 Mb (Max at Level 99).
-(Revenge) 1-15 Atk (Max at Level 99).
-(Tranquil) 5-50 Heal (Max at Level 99).
-(Defend) 40 Def. (No scaling)
-(Cold Snap) 5 Def, Damage is 35% of Atk Power.
-(Mana Burn) Chance to crit, -5 Def on hit. (No scaling. Stacks on top of other -Def on hit skills)

-(**Peony Spell Power**) 100%-400% (Max at Level 99) (This does not include the bonus from upgrades or food) (damage, healing, and curse chance all use this modifier)
-(**Enemy Spell Power**) 50%-400% (Max at Level 99) (Can exceed 400% if the battle goes into Danger mode beyond round 20)

-(**Enemy Level**) Enemy Level advances only from story events. Free battles have no effect on enemy Levels.

-(**Enemy Spell Talisman**) Enemy leaders gain access to more of their talisman at Level 15 and again at Level 30.

Scroll scaling: (Max at level 99)
ATK: 100% - 500%
HP: 100% - 600%
MB: 100% - 600%

Colonel's Mitt Pichon and Witch Erisolde are the only characters in the game that gain up to 600% ATK from ATK increasing scrolls.
Colone's Mitt increases Pichon's base ATK by 50%. The Sorcerifle increases Erisolde's ATK by a flat 30.

Every point of DEF below 0 increases damage by 1%.
Every point of DEF within the range of 1-50 DEF reduces damage received by 1%.
Every point of DEF within the range of 51-100 DEF reduces damage received by 0.5%.
Every point of DEF within the range of 101-200 DEF reduces damage received by 0.25%.

React stat affect not only Chance to activate Reaction Ability, but and to Reaction skill power.

-(Earth Assist) 5-30 Mb (Max at Level 99).

The EXP bonuses are much more massive than most people think. They're multiplicative. An example of two players playing a map with 3 bosses:
1. First player got one of his team members killed, didn't subdue any boss, and cleared the map in 11 turns. This player will receive base EXP.
2. Second player didn't get any member killed (x2 bonus), subdued all 3 bosses (x3 bonus), and cleared the map in 5 turns (x2.5 bonus). This player will receive x15 times the base EXP.

A: Scroll drops are determined by a number of factors:

   This "Drop Chance" roll is then used in a couple of the following checks.

   If it does have a talisman, the previously rolled "Drop Chance" is compared to the "unit's unique talisman drop rate".

   If enemy monster was killed with Critical Kill, then "unit's unique talisman drop rate" will be multiplied by X1.5.
   
   
3. If no talisman is dropped the item rate is compared to the "Drop Chance" roll.
   Item Drop Rate also unique for every unit and equal to 2X "unit's unique talisman drop rate".
   
   If "Drop Chance" is <= "the item drop rate" an item will drop.
   The chance that the item is food or not food is around 50/50 but will be weighted heavier towards not food in some situations.
   
   If this check turns out to be a non-food item the following occurs.
   
   A spare part item is chosen from the unit's unique pool of possible spare part drops. (Example: gremlins can only drop metal scrap, copper wire, or leather bindings)
   
   
4. Next, there is a 30% chance the spare part will be replaced with a scroll.
   
   This chance is increased directly by the value of the Luck stat. This is increased by an additional 33% from Payachins passive skill.
   
   Duplicate scrolls may have reduced drop chance after receiving the first one, I will have to open the project file later to double-check if that's true and how much the reduction is. The drop limit is determined by the scroll type.
   
   If the roll to convert the spare part is successful, a scroll is chosen from the unit's unique pool of scrolls.
   
   An individual unit has a number of hidden descriptor tags that add potential scrolls to their pool.
   For example: "Gremlins" will have scrolls A,B,and C in their loot pool while "Undead" will have scrolls D,E,and F.
   "Melee" units have scroll X while units with the "Protect" wait skill have scroll Y.
   There are a little over 20 different tags that a unit may have any combination of.
   
   If all of the unit's possible scroll drops have already reached max level the spare part will not be converted into a scroll.
   
   Note: if an enemy picked up a scroll during the battle, their scroll pool is overwritten with the scroll they picked up.

you need to get her evolution quest where she'll leave, I think it's unlocked by getting her second weapon first then it unlocks an event after the Wind Horse boss battle, you have to fight a couple story battles with her and she'll leave. Keep playing about seven days in-game and she'll return in another story event.

You don't need to match ANYTHING, just do the cooking minigame in Smargden.

The first cooking event that triggers in Smargden is the event where Claudia tells Peony that they're going to visit the hometown. The event where Peony notices the missing food triggers the second time you do the cooking minigame in Smargden regardless of the cooking results. The third time you cook triggers the event where Tom compliments Peony's cooking before running away, unlocking the mission. You need to visit the hometown with Claudia first in order to do the mission itself of course but you don't need to before this event triggers.

1) You have to have done the quests in Igneton, to help Ciro stop the people messing with her bakery. Then you unlock the ability to make sweets with camping.
2) Keep cooking in Smaragden area and he will come at a camp cinematic once you got A Pumpkin Pie* on the dinner puzzle. He will steal it and run away, giving you a side mission to complete in order to get him as playable. (Smaragden > Northern Mountains)

• *Pumpkin pie might not be needed/unlocked.
  
• Possibly joinable if you get full/perfect clear on the puzzle in Smaragden area.

5) From this point on you have 10 in-game days. If you use more than 10 days, then you cannot get the secret character until you're in NG+ where you can try again.
6) Continue through the Rohwan quests. You will need to fight Dagon and Mirrar.
7) After beating both of those bosses a Story event will appear.
8) Go to the event with the following materials:

5 Mana Crystal
5 Copper Wire
2 Rune Stone

The materials will be discarded and Matilda will join the party.

the gem system is super nice, it unlocks after the Water gem arc (Dagon and Mirrar killed), and basically, you unlock a bunch of boss battles called "challenges" and each one rewards you with two gems. Gems are equippable on Leaders like scrolls, but they don't have levels. They provide some stat buffs and allows the wearer to cast a specific talisman spell every X attack done. The stat buffs are pretty significant (+20 def for example), and they can also be a special type of movement, like Aquatic, or Blink, and remember, special movement types also come with stat buffs.

Magic Scrolls (Equippables)

Currently 42 Scrolls available to hunt for.
And as noted earlier in the guide; Level 5 is highest level obtainable on Scrolls.

Some scrolls that are in a quest related chest will be found in the same chest for all difficulties.

Ok, I can confirm my hypothesis now : I just dropped a Dynamo scroll on Hard on day 11, Dusty Road, from a Gremlin Thief (wind). I was farming scrolls before the first story event in Rockfall Valley, so you can have an early game Electric Peony.

Roc is the only Electric summon in the game. You can get two Electric summons max by using the Mimic Doll special ability to copy your Roc.
Use assist on your own summons to copy/become it or alternatively get the killing blow on an enemy's monster (not elites/bosses/non-fae!).

Go for Tuesday as it boosts Earth with which Wind warriors were wholly weak versus. Ha!
Note that there are some Earth units prior to the boss fight.

Hints:

• You get an environmental boost to Earth damage as well as Poison dealt.
  
• However Boss is immune to Poison AND can Curse your units with Poison (25% chance). Which means to either buff your cursed units fast unless you brought full earth team or bring at least 25 resistance to the table if possible.
  
• Bring as many Earth units as possible.
  
• Bring Orowantus with her Earth equipment/weapon and have her stand above and snipe the boss as much as possible to deal heavy damage.
  
• Keep Mb high. Song Enchant too if you have access to it which works wonders for this fight.
  
• Pazuzu has chain damage meaning don't try to group up if you brought weak units. Minimum 4 squares apart!

Tactics:

1. Pazuzu have 6 range, 3.5 elevation to his attacks and cannot move! Use this to your advantage/caution.
   
2. Start by killing all the adds before attacking Pazuzu.
   
3. Note that there are 2 Mana Totems in this fight! First one above is easily destroyed by your party while the 2nd doesn't need to be focused. Just attack anyone who are near it and it will break before you're even able to get to it.
   
4. Orowantus can solo this fight on her own pretty much. :) Just keep her alive and sniping from above and you'll be fine. Refrain from buffing her as she has the Trueshot Enchant initially. If you want, have some of your units stay below and get his back faced towards the lift for even MOAR DAMUG!

Boss fight tactics - The Gorgon Sisters

Arcane have no strenght (crits anyway after every 3, or 2 hits if enchanted with Mana Burn)

Electric is strong vs Water and Arcane.

This leaves us with only Monday being available for safe boosting. Ice (Thursday) to a degree but Stheno pulls out Glade Reapers that are fire, which is what Ice is weak vs.
Otherwise if you have trouble with one of them, feel free to go for the corresponding counter days Lucky Day.

Hints:

• Watch out for Medusas Splash damage!
  
• Watch out for Euryales Chain damage!
  
• There's a free +Mb buff statue between the two pillars behind Medusa.
  
• The Water Fountain to the start near your characters buffs units with Regen.
  
• There's another free buff statue between two pillars at Stheno and Euryales minions.
  It enchants with Haste.
  
• There's 5x Haunt Mushrooms on the field near Medusa, take caution or get the enemies to stand near them! It's Your choice dear sir/mam/apache helicopter!

Tactics:

1. Peony can equip any Electric buffing scrolls to change her element into Electric when she is using her first weapon (Soul Flame)! Making Medusa a bit easier to deal with.
   
2. Bring -Def on Pichon with his Fire gauntlets equipped (Colonel's Mitt) so Stheno will be easier to deal with due to her buffing Mb and +Def during the fight.
   
3. Use Orowantus first weapon (Family Keepsake) then she should be able to deal with Euryale and help out during the fight without too much problems.
   
4. Get the Teamwork Scroll set on Orowantus for aoe Mb and cleanse to Song Enchant!
   
5. 15 normal Res + 50 Res from Song Enchant and you're worry free from their Petrify talents.
   
6. Due to the enemies low amount of Res, it shouldn't be too hard to Put some Curse debuffs on them. Blind helps out during the fight and Freeze helps you lock them away until poked. Silence (Peonys Ex Null Strike ability, [44]Silence Talisman) Kills off their ability to use Talismans as well as removing their Mb.
   
7. Gremlin Hunter: 50% (35% after15 res) chance to freeze !
   Beelzebufo: 25% chance to Silence. (10% after 15 res)
   Cryotoori, if you have progressed that far have 50% (35%) chance to Freeze.
   Piercing Dance talisman have X% (-15% units) chance to Freeze.
   Rogue Gem casts Piercing Dance Spell.
   Vampire Gem casts Silence Spell.
   
8. Move your units to Euryale > Stheno > Medusa.

Boss fight tactics - Izusa

• Leap: Jumps to target location. Atk is increased by distance x7 for next attack.
  
• Wait Skill Reinforce: +X Max Mb.
  
• Reaction Skill Cold Snap: X% Chance to release a Freezing blast. +5 Def.
  
• Swaps Weapon at the start of each turn. Trap aura.

• Trap Aura = Marks your location with a big red X, and Curses you with Root + chains damage next turn if you're still on the X.

Tactics:

1. Bring the Flamethrower for this fight!
   
2. If possible, bring Dance Enchant. Otherwise, try to keep weak units min 3 squares away from another ally or lastly have someone with high dodge around her at all times?
   
3. She has Chain attacks during Ranged mode and rushes through your units in Melee mode.
   
4. Kill adds first, duh.
   
5. Arcane enemies are easy to deal with, otherwise bring Electric spells or Summons.

This is where the going gets tough, so grab your biggest pants cause you're in for a fun ride!
Remember: Last fight have No Retreat!!! Meaning that if You die with any leader during the fight, then you will fail and have to restart the fight.

You probably haven't obtained the Roc and the Mimic by now, nor have high enough summon points needed for an easier fight. So I suggest going with Wind or Ice days.

Note that if you have obtained the Mimic and the Roc, make use of any Electric boosting scroll (or all!) and you can also equip Peony with those scrolls to change her first Weapon into ranged Electric Attack instead of the original ranged Arcane Attack she has.

Hints:

• Primal Corruption: Increases various aspects. Differs depending on element. Meaning every Water Element enemies gets new stuff added/changed to their normal attacks and spells.
  
• All enemies are weak vs Wind, Ice and Electric Attacks/Spells.
  
• Boss have Apex Skill on. (Crits on him gets converted to normal attacks, has charges/durability)
  
• Flaggelate deals minor damage to the unit itself and it gains +1 ultra charge. Dagon and the Dagon Priest got this wait skill. Dagon Zealot has "Eternal Darkness" and start her turn with +2 Ultra and some Minor damage done to herself.
  
• There's pools of water around the place. The enemies have knockback talents, beware of positioning!
  
• Beelzebufo and the Dagon Priest have Aquatic talent. Don't stand near water if they are still alive!
  
• All the enemy units can heal their allies by touching or through spells. Both the Zealot and the Priest have Healing aura as well.
  
• Dagon Priest starts with Song Enchant, he got 65 res.
  
• Dagon Zealot starts with Curse Enchant, she's got 15 res. (reapplies Curse to herself every start of her turn.)
  
• Use the Dull power Spell if you've obtained it. =)
  
• Use the Entomb Spell if you've obtained it and the elites proves difficult to kill off.
  
• Bring ranged units if possible. And someone who can -Def on the boss later on in the fight. <3

Tactics:

1. Kill all adds. Focus on killing one at a time and Work slowly your way forward.
   
2. Dagon's ten-tickles, I mean tentacles will start spawning around the water pools.
   
3. Ignore boss and focus the tentacles asap! Tentacles killed = Dagon's own health down.
   
4. Spread out around the room once the first adds are cleared.
   
5. You can force the Zealot out of cloaking by using a damaging spell from Peony or have someone use the True Sight Enchant.

Boss fight tactics - Mirrar

Elemental Wisps will arrive every turn from all sides.

Hints:

• Boss casts her spells twice.
  
• Wisps spawns that will add +Apex to boss if left alive.
  
• Bring as many Earth units as possible.
  
• Mirrar will mark your locations on the ground when it's her turn that will blast with lightning, come next turn. Only those within her range are targeted. Move, then attack. Every round.
  
• Fire, Earth, Wind, Water
  
• Wisps explodes upon death.
  
• Wisps attacks everything within their range.
  
• Stand minimum 1 square away! Her ultimate does damage 1 square around the target.

Tactics:

Tactic nr 1: Brute Force.
1. Grab units who either gives or gets +atk.
   
2. Start by killing off the beelzebufos.
   
3. I did whole team with Earth and just kept Claudia (first, water gun) on add duty.
   
4. +Apex from wisps didnt matter much since you'd be constantly having units fighting her.
   
5. 3 Melee units. One for each side of her.
   
6. Bonk, go to horny jail!

• The Phylacteries gives Wendigo +Def once every turn per Phylactery.
  
• Auras that damages can also teleport Wendigo/Phylacteries.
  
• Primal Corruption: Increases various aspects of the enemies Spells/Units. Differs depending on element.
  
• Use as much non-walking/rolling, ranged and haste as possible for this fight.
  
• Wendigo will constantly be stealthing, get some true sight for this fight to make things a little easier <3 You can alternatively use Talisman damaging spells to get him out of stealth.
  
• Remember: Wendigo absorbs the element of the last units death. Plan ahead!

Tactics:

1. Phylacteries needs to die fast, Spread out since Wendigo and the Phylacteries will teleport when damaged.
   
2. -Wendigo loses the Flux skill once all of his Phylactery are destroyed. Patch 1.009
   
3. Try to controll instead of killing the adds that will spawn. example: Midnight Spell (blind), Ice, Petrify, knockback, Root etc.
   
4. Focus on Wendigo once the Phylacteries are down. Kill any other enemies near him.
   
5. Every death of an enemy Fae will result in giving Wendigo +Atk and -Def. Wendigo will start oneshotting your units after a while, plan ahead with where your units are.

• The Mana Totem likes pushing you away, but it'll probably get destroyed before you even get to it. Also boosts its allies with +1 move per turn. Explodes on death.

• The Phylacteries have 1 attack Range, Attacks everything within range and explodes on death.
  
• Phylacteries teleports when damaged.
  
• Seraphim is weak to Electricity damage, so are the Phylacteries.
  
• Primal Corruption: Increases various aspects of the enemies Earth Spells/Units. Differs depending on element.
  
• There's holes in the ground and boss likes pulling you toward him (2 spaces) Goodbye not careful placement for ground units!
  
• Each-Mot's Ultimate spawns 3 random Elemental units.
  
• Whenever an Earth unit dies, the "soul" goes to Each-Mot and he gains +1 Ultra and -5 Apex durability.
  
• At Each-Mot's sides, you can see Angel Statues. Standing, or well flying infront of them, will give you the inspire enchant and a small heal upon next turn if you are infront of them at the start of next turn.
  
• Boss have Entomb spell and this is a 'No Retreat!!!' fight. Make sure any main character is not downed or it's good night and you'll have to restart the fight or give up.
  
• Erisolde's Ultimate is good for shortening the fight, use it on the boss.

Tactics:

1. Phylacteries needs to die fast, otherwise Each-Mot gets buffed each round with +Def.
   
2. Spread out 1 unit per "room" where the Phylacteries are located. Minimum 2 range attacks.
   
3. Once the Phylacteries are down, have someone focus boss with -Def on Atk. Be prepared for that unit to take damage every turn. If using a Summon for the job, best one is Dragon Mother (fire), the alternative of Dragon Matriarch (Earth). If going for a main character, Pichon is best if you're going for a melee poking the boss' Def down with his Fire gauntlets and -Def Scroll (Ruinous Scroll.
   
4. Phylacteries always priority number one.

Boss fight tactics - Each-Rhyfel

Fight your way to the Solaris Cannon.

• The Mana totems protect from all non-critical attacks and give +4 atk per totem (x6 totems) for all allies each turn. So +24 per round if all are left alive in other words.
  
• Primal Corruption: Increases various aspects of the enemies Fire Spells/Units. Differs depending on element.
  
• Each-Rhyfel's Ultimate Earth Shatter: Deals a (3) AoE range fire damage and knocks back everyone caught in the blast.
  
• There's a free Rage Enchant buff cauldron at the very left of the start area.
  
• 5 brittle walkways. Mind where you move and place your units!

Tactics:

1. Make the fight much easier by having someone equip the Aegis of Water Scroll, making his AoE Def steal jump move absolutely ineffective.
   
2. You only need to bring Water units to this fight. Not even -Def is needed on this fight as Mercury gives that after bringing down Each-Rhyfel's Apex by 10 every turn.
   
3. Mana Totems needs to die fast, otherwise Each-Rhyfel + his allies gets buffed each round with +Atk and can't be damaged (damage taken goes to Mana Totem instead). You can continue to shoot or hit the enemies while you move towards the Mana Totems.
   
4. The giant cannon will be firing on this stage as well as the previous fight before it. Simply don't stand on the giant red X marks upon ending your units turn.
   
5. Mercury will remove 10 Apex from Each-Rhyfel once every turn. Mercury will also take some damage when doing this.
   
6. Make sure Cardea or Mercury doesn't die. Get one healer over to Mercury and babysit him at all times! I suggest Payachin with her AoE Mb heal at the start of her turn as well as her Ultimate: Life Force.

• Her ultimate hurts real bad!
  
• Each-Uisge will try to focus on Claudia as often as possible. Position Claudia away from party.

Tactics:

1. Warning! Your chosen units and spells will carry over into Phase 2, even the cooldowns will pass over
   
2. Make sure you have killed off that Wendigo before this fight and gotten Claudias' last weapon. Use it for an easier fight. It gives -res and -Apex durability (if there is any) to all targets she damages.
   
3. Don't worry about the round limit being reached, as it resets to 1 upon killing Each-Uisge and thus ending Phase 1
   
4. Buff up as much as possible, try not to get any of your own Fae summons killed prior to ending Phase 1. (send them away from Each-Uisge)
   
5. Kill adds and stall for buffs, make sure you are able to actually kill Each-Uisge before round 20 though.
   
6. Low Res means she can easily be Crowd Controlled, Ice or Petrify is nice to keep her out of the fight while you buff up. =)

• She still casts thrice the amount per spell! Hands only once per turn.

Tactics:

1. Have Claudia focus on boss with her Hand of the Occluded Weapon, leaving boss to lose res and apex every turn. Position Claudia so she is 1 square away from boss so she can hit all 3 of Gaea's body parts with Claudias Witch aura.
   
2. Rest split up and kill Cursed Mana Shards as soon as possible!
   
3. Once Apex is removed from Gaea, you can go fight her with your whole team. Beware that both hands gets their Cursed Mana Shard spawning ability removed and replaced with a Spell instead. Fireball and Doom Bolt. Remember that Boss have Chain ability too. 100% Evd helps.
   
4. Have someone Petrify or Freeze the hands for instant kill once they have gotten low enough Res from Claudias Hand of the Occluded Weapon.

-Some of Gaea's spell talisman are now determined by the day of the week.
-Cursed mana shards are now immune to spell talisman damage.
-Gaea's hands can now be destroyed, reducing its offense and defense.

Epilogue Screens - A or B

Epilogue I(A): Chico Stays with Claudia and keeps her company in her workshop back in Alma. He regularly patrols the area around Mount Alma and protects all its inhabitants. His body became so accustomed to the stormwulf transformation that he was rarely seen out of it. After some time, he became known to the locals as Stormwulf, guardian of the sacred mountain.

Epilogue I(B): Chico spends most of his days lounging on the floor of Claudia's workshop. He'll still chase after a unilana or two if the mood strikes him.

Epilogue II and III(A): Orowantus and Pichon were married and started a farm in the Emerald Hills. Soon after, they had a child. The first of a new race of fae that will one day become known as pegasi. Recognizing their contributions to the safety of the region, Rohwan created an official branch of the military called Sentinels. The sentinels were led by the pegasi and consisted of elite hand-picked human and fae warriors.

Epilogue II(B): Pichon returns to a life of prizefighting. He builds an Orphanage and daycare center in Obedon, to which he sends most of his winnings to keep running. He eventually retired undefeated.

Epilogue III(B): Orowantus starts a farm in Rohwan to live out her days alone. Her home becomes a beloved landmark to the locals because of its beautiful flower gardens. She manages to grow flowers and crops on her land that were previously thought impossible to grow in the region. Perhaps her tribe never needed the Basilisk Emerald at all.

Epilogue IV(A): Emphasizing the tenets of love and peace found within their holy scriptures, Erisolde leads the rebuilding of the Church. Revealing Grunhold's ancient connection to the dwarves begins a shift towards coexistence with the fae. Young girls that survived the Seraphim experiments became regarded as saints. They spent some time living with the faeries of the forest learning to wield protective magics, before returning to Erisolde's side as holy maidens.

Epilogue IV(B): While half of Grunhold rallies behind Erisolde, the other half hold fast to their stubborn ways. Believing Erisolde is under the influence of a daemon like the previous high priest, they revolt against her and her followers, leading to a civil war. While Erisolde's side was victorious in the end, the number of casualties suffered by the Holy Grunian Empire proved too much for it to ever recover from.

Epilogue V(A): When harpies raided a human settlement in Doro, Matilda defended them until Obedon could send help. Soldiers arrived to find Matilda at the center of dozens of fallen harpies. Chariot's battery had finally run dry. Matilda died with a smile on her face. The settlers say the faery only said one thing to them. "My archon would never forgive me if I left you to die." The settlement was later named Laeria A'Meduin.

Epilogue VI(A): Payachin became an excellent ruler of her forest. The mana in the forest grew strong, and the area overflowed with life. As her power spread, much of the Northern Doro wastes became fertile. The effects spread as far as Rockfall valley. She was known as the Dragon Empress of Doro.

Epilogue VI(B): Payachin did not return home as she continued to search for her parent's murderer. The forest slowly begins to wither and die without Payachin's influence.

Epilogue VII(A): As Tom Tildrum returns home to face his rival, he's met with shocking news. Nine cat sidhe stood before him carrying an ornate coffin. They informed Tom Tildrum that Tim Toldrum was dead and that now Tom was officially King of the cats. When Tom asked how Tim met his end, the lead cat sidhe replied. "He choked on a chicken bone."

Epilogue VIII(A): Before returning to sleep, the Crimson King hunted down and consumed the soul of Each-Uisge preventing its resurrection once and for all. From this day forward, the fate of this world is in the hands of all of its inhabitants.

Epilogue Screens - Ex

Epilogue Ex(I): Ciro's bakery thrived and became the core of Ingenton's growing economy. Travelers from all over came to try the world-famous Peony Special, a pumpkin ice cream and ginger cookie sandwich with whipped cream topping.

Epilogue Ex(II): Lynidia's final seed miraculously birthed an archon. The new archon, Mylodia, revitalized the Doro faery clan. With Izia at her side, the faeries developed friendly relations with the humans in Rockfall Valley.

Epilogue Ex(III): The Gremlin King keeps his word in guiding his subjects in a better direction. Over time he developed a massive transport network using the underground tunnels linking his various former hideouts. People began to see gremlins as traders and merchants rather than thieves and scoundrels. The Gremlin Postal service became widely used between all of the countries on the continent.

Epilogue Ex(IV): Claudia met with academics and leaders of the various countries and showed them the notes she recovered from the dead researcher at the frozen scar. They all agreed that if there are beings still trapped in the other world, the situation with the world tears needs to be monitored. A joint research team was formed to confirm the existence and assess the potential threat of the beings beyond the tear.

Epilogue Ex(V): Ikaido held a grand celebration for the coronation of King Mercury as well as his marriage to Queen Cardea. With Cardea's support, Shialan refugees were eventually accepted into Ikaido. The Shialans became world-renowned lapidarist and craftsmen of magical items, making them central figures of Ikaido's economy.

Epilogue IX(A): Word spread about what caused the curse that nearly destroyed the world. As people learned about the brave witch that broke the extinction event curse, the general attitude towards human magic users began to change. Witches became known as sorceresses, and eventually, organizations formed with the goal of training and educating them.

Epilogue X(A): As she prepares to leave her home on another journey, Peony is stopped in the doorway by her mother. "You don't have to go out there Peony. You've done enough. It's dangerous to keep doing this without magic." Peony gestures at the sidearm on her hip, given to her by Erisolde. She signs "I love you." to her mother, then turns to walk out of the door. She hasn't decided where she's going yet, but she can't wait to get there!

The legend of Crystal Peony has only just begun...

Ok, I can confirm my hypothesis now : I just dropped a Dynamo scroll on Hard on day 11, Dusty Road, from a Gremlin Thief (wind). I was farming scrolls before the first story event in Rockfall Valley, so you can have an early game Electric Peony.

I take it it's the [42] Blood Pact you're talking about. Get as much +luck from camping minigame (you can reload if you didn't exit that screen upon completion/failure. Simply alt+f4 and try again)

The succubi also needs to be able to cast that spell in order for you to have a chance to obtain it, check their spells they can cast. Then you could also max Tom Tildrum's Special stats and have him whack the succubus and you get some extra chance of obtaining the spell.

I can't for the life of me get the vampire spell talisman. I've killed like 8 succubi and they just keep dropping berries. Do you have any idea what I should do different?

Aye, most likely. Just remember to not leave Each-Kikin fight as last fragment!

Pretty common to not subduing all 3 on the Gorgon sisters fight. But there's an achievement for completing new game+ anyway so nothing lost really eh?

Probably won't be in strategic battles, looking back at their different types of games history, but one can always hope yeah. Good game indeed. Loved playing it myself.

I have done everything, I think it's because I messed up the Gorgon sister fight by killing one (Peony's Ice react) so I never got Orowantus' last weapon.... so I guess I softblocked myself until NG+ and also out of her companion questline :')...

Well I was planning on doing a NG+ run anyway but now I know what to do for certain next time. I thankfully got everything else and everyone to level 60 so last thing left is to collect Ikaido memory and then the final boss!!

Done everything up until the very last game changer quest? Otherwise there should be no problems if i don't remember wrongly. Fairly certain you can obtain all gems on first gameplay.
Otherwise try to get all your team members their 2nd and 3rd weapons and see if they unlock a new map that contains the corresponding gem location.

Also huge tip: Don't leave the Each-Kikin fight as last fight of the elemental fragments! You'll end up missing Payachins evolution questline and 3rd weapon.

Thanks for this guide, really helps since I want to get practically everything, but the hidden mechanics of the game are kinda killing me. I've gotten a handful of gems, but no more Stigandr encounters appear, so I'm wondering if I soft-blocked myself from getting more, or if this is a NG+ deal, or because my star-sign limits what gems I have access to?
