Preface to the Guide
Welcome Ex-Managers to the guide that is dedicated towards beating the living E.G.O out of the Magical Girls! This is my first guide ever, so feel free to critique me. THIS GUIDE IS NOT (truly) SPOILER FREE, SO PROCEED WITH CAUTION. I try to not spoil any information outside of the story inside the abnormality's territory. Also, this guide is most likely not a fool proof one, but it worked for me, so it definitely must have some merits to it. Some information will be referenced from the Wiki[library-of-ruina.fandom.com].

Project Moon has done a great job balancing these abnormality fights to be relatively the same power level as your current progression of the game. So if you have tried my guide and it doesn't work, advance the story a bit and you might ended up beating them without this guide.

Unlike other previous Asiyah suppression (in my opinion), they pose as an actual challenge if you are caught off guard, especially when you are not great at calculating the risk and reward of clashes. This guide is made assuming you haven't proceeded pass the required Book and Invitation. There is going to be a big assumption that you understand at the very least the basic of this game's mechanic of clashing, resource management, and situational awareness.

Of course you could always bum rush the story and grind for the current best deck, but where is the fun in that?

Author's Note
FINALLY FINISHED UPDATING THE GUIDE TO MATCH THE FINAL PATCH. This guide will the definitive edition and I will be working on other floor's suppression and realization. When will I finish? I have no clue. It takes an entire day to write this entire guide, and another day to update it again and again.
First Abnormality - Arcane Channeling
Queen of Hatred - Recommended Prerequisite
  • Unlock the Abnormality Fight (Book of Sayo and Meow).
  • Grinded Kurokumo Clan for Sayo and Rusted Chain for Jikan.
  • At least one Objet d'art book (Hanafuda is a good one).

The Spell Deck - Bloody Laceration
This is the deck I used to beat her on my second run which focus mainly on the bleed DOT. It capitalizes on the fact that she has 3 dices and will mostly roll more than 3 attack dies per turn. Survivability is not a concern since you will most likely kill her around scene 5 due to the absurd bleed damage she will be taking per turn, or perish from her Snake form. Even after the Bleed nerf, this is still probably one of the better option due to how much attack dice she uses, and also appropriate to where you should be.
Bad Joke incoming: Another name for this deck - Cherry Popping.

Deck: 1x Rules of the Backstreet, 2x Want a Taste of this Chain?, 1x Clean Up, 1x Silent Mist, 1x Here's my Chance, 2x Head to Head, 1x Now Die

Passive: Yang's Deep Wound, Gin's Digging Shank, Zwei Fixer's Keeping in Stride

Sayo is the core bleeder for this team. Razor Strike and Dark Cloud Blade are good bloody cherries on top of slash damages. Here's my Chance is best used for clashing while Head to Head is for one-sided bleed stacking. Now Die will be your bread and butter "I want to win this clash" card, and a great deterrence to Arcana Beat.

General Invitation Combination: 1x Any Urban Plague Book

Deck: 2x Rules of the Backstreet, 3x Want a Taste of this Chain?, 1x Silent Mist, 2x Here's my Chance, 2x Now Die

Passive: Zwei Fixer's Keeping in Stride, Sayo's Battle Ready and Razor Strike

With the addition of Jikan, this fight will be a lot easier with how strong Now Die can be. It is Ink Over but consistently strong. Yes, you will bleed yourself to death, but hey, as long as they die first, it's not a problem, right? Due to how bad resource management cards are at this point in game, this deck is by no mean self-sufficient in a long run, so you will want to beat the Queen of Hatred within 10 Scenes.

General Invitation Combination: 3x Any Urban Plague Book

Deck: 3x Want a Taste of this Chain?, 3x Gamble, 3x Daring Decision

Passive: Olga's Margin, Rain's In Times Like These!

There is a great reason why I don't use Hanafuda's discard deck, and that is the lack of consistent light and hand regeneration, even with Margin being used. At this point in time, Twinstrike Olga is still the way. Try your best to put Mark debuff to land on this character since this nugget will probably be the one with the least DPS. Let the rest do the damage and bleeding while you watch this one slowly bleed out on their own term.
First Abnormality - The Fight
Best waifu from Lobotomy Corporation, and is still best waifu in this game. Project Moon actually made her even cuter now even though she's more unstable than my mental health. If no one will make my Queen to be playable in this game, I might take the matter to myself.

Queen of Hatred in a Nutshell
For those who is too lazy to read (or forget), here's a simple explanation on her Passive Ability.

Stats: 250 HP, 60 STG, 2-4 Speed, All 1x Damage Resist, All 0.25x Stagger Resist
Speed II: She got 3 speed dices.
Adverse Change: Queen Lose ANY Clash AND/OR Attacked by Marked character = Fill gauge. Queen Win ANY Clash AND/OR Attacking Marked character = Deplete gauge.
Low Red screen = Good. Full Pink screen = Snake Mode and you restart the fight basically.
In the Name of Hate: Every 2 scenes, she uses a page that marks a character, who will take Fatal damage from her next turn.
Arcana Slave: Every 4 turn, she uses a card that deals damage to every character. Every dice roll on the card you use to challenge her will be calculated if you can block her damage, but you won't be attacking with it. If she uses this card in her Snake form, the next turn she is staggered.

tl;dr Losing any clash or attack by bad guy pisses her off, and vice versa. Every 2 turns she marks a bad guy, who will suffer more damage. Every 4 turns she blasts every heretics with magical blast, but you can block it by rolling a combination of dices more than her. If she's fully pissed, she go into snake form and every Arcana Slave staggers her.

Example of Hysteria Gauge and Marked debuff icon (Thanks Wiki)

The Strategy - No Hysteria

You can defeat her without letting the hysteria gauge fills up. If you decides to use my recommended deck, this is the strat you want to stick with since she will bleed herself out. Fragile debuff is also another one you want to get. Stack enough damage and you should be able to bum rush her. Reminder that one-sided attack doesn't fill Hysteria gauge as long as it is not the marked character.

Deal as much damage as possible on Scene 1 and 2, whether it be through clashing or one-sided attack. Make sure that your screen is not near fully pink at the end of Scene 2. At the start of Scene 3, do NOT use your strongest card. Leave it for Scene 4. Make sure she get some free hits on the marked character. 2-4 hits should be enough to calm her down for a turn or two. Do not hit her with marked character too much. Don't worry, they probably won't die as long as you calculate the damage correctly. M

For Scene 4, use your strongest card on the dice that her Mass Attack is targeting. If you know she will transform if the marked character attack her, you can just let them die while the rest one-side her to death.

Rinse repeat, and don't forget that time is not exactly on your side. You should be able to kill her around Scene 6.

The Strategy - Snake Killer

Disclaimer: This is the hard route. Never done this route due to the fact that I killed her before she could go snake mode. But these are some hypothetical scenarios that I would do if I were to trigger her Hysteria.

Win as many clashes as possible before Scene 4 so she can transform into her Snake form, then immediately stagger next scene due to Arcana Slave. By Scene 3, you should be able to achieve this if the marked character get free hits in. If my memory serves right, she will regain all of her health and stagger once transformed, so be prepared for that.

On Scene 4 (Acana Slave), do whatever you can to survive this Scene. After she blasted you with one of the most PTSD inducing attack from LC, she will be staggered, and so your counterattack commence. You better make sure you can finish her off this scene, or at least within the next 2 Scenes because you probably will run out resources before she does.

Good luck if you try this route with only Urban Plague cards.
Second Abnormality - Groundwork
Knight of Despair - Recommended Prerequisite
  • Unlock the Abnormality Fight (Book of Tommery and Oscar, finish Wedge Office Reception).
  • Farmed Wedge Office for their combat pages and Oscar page
  • Lots of good Pierce combat pages
  • Farmed Full-Stop Office books
  • Tribute for RNGesus

The Army - Winged Hussar

This deck is heavily based on the fact that the Blessed Swords are fatally weak to Thrust damage, and you want to kill it as soon as possible, hence my emphasis on farming Wedge office. If you have any good sustain cards (Maybe Sweep the Backstreet or that Sweeper revive card), you can substitute it in.

Deck: 3x Want a Taste of this Chain?, 2x Sparking Spear, 1x Stab and Detonate, 1x Transpierce, 2x Collision

Passive: Zwei Fixer's Keeping in Stride, Workshop Affiliated Fixer's Solidarity

General Invitation Combination: 2x Any Urban Plague Books

Oscar is going to be your most valuable unit in this team due to his synergy with pierce dices. Immortality is a plus that might save you from restarting the fight. The idea here is to get as many pierce damage as possible while having that giant damage dice on hand at almost every time. I wouldn't recommend substituting Oscar with either Pameli or Pamela page due to the fact that they are weak to slash, and these swords will slice through them faster than a hot knife through a butter.

Transpierce is for that big single dice while Collision is for the rest.

Deck: 3x I Hate CQC, 2x Target Spotted, 3x Not Another Step, 1x Going for Bullseye

Passive: Li Wei's Concentration, Stephen's Blind Fire, Pamala's Jolting Puncture

You're probably thinking, "Tamaki page? Are you insane? Why not Li Wei?" The answer to that question is "Yes." But hear me out, Both Tamaki and Liwei have the same health and stagger, but Liwei is weak to Pierce, which most Swords attack include it. Yes, you only have about 9 Scenes to defeat Knight of Despair, but neither of you will last that long, trust me. That +3 Offensive Dice is enough for me to not use Li Wei or Stephan, since time is not by your side at all. This deck's sole purpose is to set up/finish Blessed Blade staggering, while giving some chance to be useful during Despair mode.

PSA: Gun vs Gun acts like Melee vs Melee in clash

Deck: 3x Want a Taste of this Chain?, 1x Mend Weapon, 2x Sparking Spear, 1x Stab and Detonate, 1x Transpierce, 1x Now Die

Passive: Zwei Fixer's Keeping in Stride, Workshop Affiliated Fixer's Solidarity

A copy of Oscar's deck with some modification. Functions the same as Oscar, but Now Die is there for the "better" experience against Despair state. I put quotation there for a reason.

The Army - Tip of the Edge

"I can't finish this fight so I will just go through Urban Nightmare first."

Deck: 3x Energy Cycle, 2x Sparking Spear 3x Extreme Edge, 1x Transpierce

Passive: Pamali's Wedge and Piercer, Anton's Health Hauler

The entire purpose of this deck is for clashing during the Despair mode. Valentine's passive Singular Strike will help with single dice clash against the high ranged dice Despair. Glass cannon against everything else, so be aware of that.

Deck: 3x To Overcome Crisis, 1x Faint Memories, 2x Sparking Spear, 1x Transpierce, 2x Tailoring
Same idea as Valentine, but this time with 4 cost cards. Overbreathing combo is 4 cost card + Overcome. If Overcome hits, you regain 4 Light back, and you do it again. If you can make a handlock out of this, it will be even stronger. Please ignore my Boundary of Death I have gambling issue

So, what about that 3rd librarian?
In all honesty, ditto the Oscar page from the Winged Hussar section. He will be your tank AND your pierce dealer. Make sure the Shi stays alive and you should be able to defeat her.
Second Abnormality - The Duel
I finished this suppression at 4am after 6 hours worth of horrible RNG. I'm talking about min-roll on Transpierce during Despair mode, or couldn't draw it to save my life. I wasted like an hour trying to figure out what I was supposed to do, until my singular brain cell process everything. Out of those hours, I think my Going for Bullseye only worked against Heart-piercing Sword like twice out of at least 12 tries. I'm pretty sure your luck will be better than mine, and don't be afraid to get some Urban Nightmare books before attempting this fight.

Knight of Despair in a Nutshell

Same as before. You will be fighting the swords mainly but most of her gimmick is described on herself.

Knight's Stats: 450 HP, 50 STG
Loyal Protection: Can't be targeted. Does not act.
Sorrow: Every 3 Scenes, give Tears (Blessing) to a random Sword.
Despair: Blessed Sword dies, she falls into Despair next Scene.
Blessing of Despair: In Despair mode, all Sword revives to full health and use Special Combat Pages.
Broken Heart: 3 Swords impaled = Targettable next Scene, also staggered too.

Sword's Stats: 100 HP, 45 STG, 1x Resistance to all. Blessed Sword has 2x Resistance to Pierce while everything else being 0.25x.
Tears: Blessed basically. They use special pages and changed resistance as above.
Respite: Cannot die, but will be suppressed for 2 Scenes before fully revived.
Sword that Pierces Despair: During Despair, if loses all clash, it will pierces itself into the Knight and deals 50 damages to her.

--------------> Blessed Sword

tl;dr Every 3 Scenes she gives a Sword a Blessing. Killing Blessed Sword makes her go into Despair. Not letting the swords deal any damage during Despair stabs themselves into Knight. Defeats 3 of them and she'll be targettable.

Abnormality Page Usefulness

I highly recommend getting Love as your first abnormality as any sustainability is greatly appreciated. Even though this strategy is all about getting into Despair fast, Hate could work, but why would you want to lose clash when your life depends on winning? Justice might be useful here, but it's not worth it either due to the fact that the sword that gets a free hit on you will always be the one that's not Blessed.

The Strategy - Lightning Piercer

Here is something you need to keep in mind, Blessed and Despair Swords deal true damage. Which mean that you can either play the long game and wear them all out, or go for the fastest kill as possible. It's actually safer to finish this suppression as soon as possible due to the fact that the true damage and fragile will stack up so much that you won't be able to survive all of it. Manage your Light and Hand. Make sure you have enough for the next Scene.

This strategy is focused on getting her into Despair as fast as we could aka Dogpilling aka everyone target on the Blessed Sword while ignoring the rest. Use all of the pierce pages you can on the Blessed Sword so you can stagger, or outright kill it. Make sure to save at least one high damage dice combat card at all time for when you have to deal with the Despair mode. You have 3 Scenes to do it before all of your effort goes to nothing, unless the Blessed Sword is still the same one. Even though I said to focus everything on a single Sword, that doesn't mean you can't spare some to clash against regular ones to save your bum. Fragile can stacks up damage faster than you would expect, so don't ignore that one unless it's within your plan.

Once you get her into Despair mode, YOU HAVE EXACTLY 3 SCENES TO DEFEAT ALL THE SWORD BEFORE THEY RESET. Now, pray to RNGesus and grab your highest single dice combat card then let's go. You want to prioritize your Love librarian against the triple dice one so you can get some health back while you're at it. If you have to leave one alive due to either the lack of light or you don't have the card to fight it, leave the one with only 1 dice as it will deal the least amount of true damage while you try to clutch it out.

NOTE: DICE 1 VS DICE 1, DICE 2 VS DICE 2, ETC. IF YOU ONLY HAVE 2 DICE AND SHE HAS 3 DICE, YOU WILL BE ABLE TO RECYCLE THE DICES THAT YOU WON WITH UNTIL YOU EITHER LOSE OR HIT HER. THIS DOES NOT APPLY TO RANGE VS RANGE.

After you successfully pierce all 3 of the Swords back inside of her (that sentence feels so wrong), you have a scene to deal as much damage to her as possible. At this stage, she is fatal to every damage, so go ham. You will not be able to outright kill her in one cycle, so don't blow all of your good cards away yet. If you lower her health to near 200, you should be able to kill her on the next cycle. If not, no one will judge you if you rage quit. Unless you believe in your tenacity, you can try to finish the job on the third cycle.
Third Abnormality - Tribute Arrangement
Recommended Prerequisite
  • Unlock the Abnormality Fight
  • Acquire Mei and Rose pages
  • That's about it
  • Optional: Farm passives
  • Tribute for the RNGesus

The Warriors - Finest Champions

(As of the time I first wrote this guide) Custom Passive system has arrived! What does that changed for the King of Greed fight? Nothing! Yay! Joke aside, this fight has been the easiest one out of the three from my experience. All you need is a strong and sustainable team and that's it. The fight is not ape inducing like Floor of Technology, but at the same time not extremely tactical like whatever the heck Floor of Social Science supposed to be. The goal for this deck is to simply match her power and survive until she uses her gimmick. Yes, I'm too lazy to update this section with the new UI update. Shut up.

Deck: 2x To Overcome Crisis, 2x Draw of the Sword, 2x Sparking Spear, 3x Ink Over

Passives: Anton's Mind Hauler, Lyra's Health Hauler and Liquefied Flesh

Infinite 4 Yujin surprisingly got buffed even more with this new system. The nerf to all healing passive might actually benefit Shi in the sense that they could still remain under 25% without being too low. The idea of this deck is to get to emotion level 2 then keep playing Ink Over+Overcome every turn for that big damage. Sparking Spear is there for extra drawing power during the first scene.

Author's Note: Yujin's dead dice can be problematic when faced against King of Greed's mass attack despite how overpowered she is. The fix to this? Don't use her! I'll include one extra page in this section in case you don't want to get blue balled by RNGesus.

Deck: 3x Draw of the Sword, 2x Flash of Sunup, 1x Yield Thy Flesh, 2x Slay, 1x Overthrow

Passives: Grade 7 Fixer Page 2's Slashing Prowess, Sayo's Battle Ready and Dark Cloud Blade

General Invitation Combination: 2x Any Urban Nightmare Books

Bamboo Hatted Kim, also known as Samurai Jack, is the pinnacle of Slash power. He is extremely good at clashing with the cards he comes with. Giving him Love will benefit the team the most since you want to clash with Slay after all. Dark Cloud Blade gives that overkill power boost, so he gets a natural +3 Power boost to slash dices.

Deck: Want a Taste of this Chain?, Draw of the Sword, Extract Fuel, Riposte, Sweep the Backstreet, Execute, Trace of Fume, Will of the Prescript, Moulinet

Passives: Index Proselyte's Grace of the Prescript, Valerie's Mind Hauler

General Invitation Combination: 1x Any Urban Nightmare Book

Ah yes, Highlander/Singleton deck. It's the most consistent and easiest resource management deck. Without it, Dante and Seven Association's deck would be even less viable. Even then, you won't be using its "other" mechanic for this fight since it just doesn't work on King of Greed. Information Assessment is a nice passive that'll soften up King of Greed for extra damage. Will of the Prescript is the only draw card you'll ever needed for this so yeah.

Deck: Want a Taste of this Chain?, Draw of the Sword, Extract Fuel, Flash of Sunup, Desperate Struggle, Sunset Blade, Searing Sword, Will of the Prescript, Crack of Dawn

Passives: All of Salvador's passive, Sayo's Battle Ready and Razor Strike

Who would've thought we would get imperfect EGO Phillip while the guy ran away for the third bloody time? The game plan for this deck is to not confront the King, but to stack burn on top of more burn. Burn is a nice debuff to chip KoG while powering up this page even more. If you didn't get Searing Sword and is too lazy to farm for it, you can substitute it with Execute or Slay. If you need to sacrifice someone, this guy is the guy.

Deck: Loosen Up, Draw of the Sword, Extract Fuel, Scratch That!, Wrath of Torment, Hard Rehearsal, Sharp Nail, Deep Drag, Moulinet

Passives: Workshop Affiliated Fixer's Solidarity, Stray Dog's Punch to the Solar Plexus

Yes, this deck looks stupid. This deck is made in a way to exploit Emma's High-level Acrobat power boost, thus the absurd amount of 3 cost cards. With how this fight is made, you don't need to hit King of Greed all the time, so you can rest this character for a turn if your hand or light doesn't look so good. You can substitute Moulinet with Will of the Prescript if you prefer.
Third Abnormality - The Revolt
This fight is somewhat easy for me, even without perfect RNG. I even first tried her King of Greed form somehow with only a single BoD proc in an entire run without any fancy passives added. Then again, your run might not be as smooth as mine, so here we are, preparing to overthrow the greedy and hot king. You are proving to her that you can wield the power of Gold Rush, so prepare for a slugfest.

King of Greed in a Golden Shellnut

Her passive changes between two forms, Magical Girl and King of Greed, with the former being the weaker one. If you want an easy route, kill the egg. She is fully Endured against all type.

Aurum Amber: If you kill her, respawn as Magical Girl the next scene, otherwise, King of Greed.

Magical Girl Form

Flicking Desire: If HP falls to 50% or lower, transform into the King of Greed next Scene. HP does not go below 50% before transformation.
The Road of Gold: Every 3 Scenes, creates Brilliant Bliss and becomes untargetable, but does not act. The following Scene, uses a special Combat page against all librarians.
Narcissism: If three or fewer librarians manage to negate the attack of the Mass Attack Combat page, gain 3 Strength and Haste next Scene. (If two or less librarians are alive, one or no librarians negating the page will activate this effect)
Momentary Bliss: If all librarians successfully negate the attack of the special Combat page, the Abnormality becomes Staggered next Scene.

King of Greed Form

The King of Greed: Uses a different, and more powerful, set of Combat pages. On a successful hit, deal bonus damage equal to stacks of Bleed on the target.
The Road of the King: Every 3 Scenes, creates Brilliant Bliss and becomes untargetable, but does not act. The following Scene, uses a special Combat page against a single target.
Voracity: If a librarian fails to negate any one of the special Combat page's attacks, deal 15 damage to all librarians and recover 25 HP.
A Moment’s Bliss: If a librarian successfully negates all attacks of the special Combat page, the Abnormality becomes Staggered next Scene.

tl;dr - Every 3 scenes she spawns her golden minions that reward you special block pages on kill, then proceed to one-shot punch you on next scene. Either you don't get hit and stagger her, or suffer. If she goes below 50%, she turns into a more powerful form.

Abnormality Page Usefulness
Love and Justice are super good as always, but I would suggest prioritizing Love for sustainability. Blessing might be good if you have nuggets that are weak to anything but Blunt, since all of her moves are blunt damage. Sword Sharpened with Tears is a decent one for RNG Gods, Despair is not that great against her since you probably won't be doing an immediate comeback revenge combo on her due to KoG being 100% endured. Hate MIGHT be useful for a last-ditch kill combo when she is below 200 HP, but I highly suggest against that.

The Strategy - Abdication

This is probably going to be a hard one to explain for me without going super specific. I suggest dumping all of your powerful cards to break her Amber Shell to make the suppression 2x easier.

The goal here is to survive the onslaught until you reach her 3rd scene. You don't want to attack her when she is not staggered, you just want to keep winning the clash and survive. Keep your light and cards, don't waste them. The deck that I provided should be good enough to cover most scenarios. You want to prioritize winning against cards with debuff/buff to make your life easier. Make sure you have enough lights and cards to do 20 damage on the 3rd scene.

Once you reach this scene, all you need to do is to individually break these prisms in one scene. Read your speed dices. The higher the number, the faster they will act. This means you could set up for a chip damage with your fast librarian for one that might not break it. Do not be cheap, use your most powerful cards if you can. If one of your nugget couldn't break the prism, you can still try to challenge her by using an equally powerful card and pray, like Transpierce or Deep Drag. She will do a 15 power Individual Mass Attack the turn after, so use those golden cards.

Once you dealt 200 damage to her, she will be in her King of Greed form. What does this mean to you? Absolutely nothing except your nuggets will suffer. She gains a stronger deck, but your objective is the same: Survive. You probably won't win all of the clashes here, but all that matters is to survive until she summons the crystal again.

Unlike her previous form, this time she will target only one librarian, which is marked by a golden ring behind them if they are on the middle and bottom row, and in front of them if they are in top row. next to the targeted librarian, if not on top of them. Unless you are a God at buffing your librarian, you will die if you could not break two prisms with one librarian. Again, your goal is to deal 20 damage to two prisms with one librarian, so you can use a faster librarian to set up a kill confirm for the marked one unless said nugget is the fastest with both dice, then F. Once you survive the KO punch, it is time to retaliate and kill her. If you can't kill her, well, you got time for 2nd cycle, hopefully.

The Strategy - Boundless Avarice

If you want to not crack the Shell, accidentally misjudged your damage, or want some challenge, then this is the section you're looking for.

Good luck. No seriously. The strat is the same. Survive until her gimmick, beat the golden prisms, block all of her insta-KO, and go all in when she is staggered. She is in King of Greed form since the start, so you could just 400-to-0 her if you can. Another option is to bleed + burn her out like always.
Fourth Abnormality - Service Preparation
Recommended Prerequisite
  • Unlock the Abnormality Fight
  • Beat and farm the first row of Star of the City and anything below it
  • Optional: Index Proxies - Hubert and Ester unlocked

The Minions - Handy Helpers

Word cannot express how giggidy I was when I saw this fight. If you took a peek (or die) at the suppression, you may think that monkey blunt is the way; Well I'm here to say that Harambe died so we don't have to suffer. Garbage joke aside, we want the opposite of Blunt actually, since your goal is to help Servant of Wrath kills Hermit of the Azure Forest, not the other way around. In order to do that, you gotta stagger the Hermit. To be honest, I'm debating if I should even put the deck here or not, but oh well, might as well.

Passive: Valerie's Mind Hauler, Cecil's Firm as a Great Mountain and Fervor

Deck: 3x To Overcome Crisis, 1x Draw of the Sword, 2x Sturdy Defense, 3x Fervid Emotion

The strongest character in this entire game, and still is. Infinite 4 Yujin is easy to use, and strong as hell even with those debuffs she took. The plan here is to flood your hand as fast as possible with draw cards, then use Fervid Emotion + To Overcome Crisis. Your main DPS and Clasher. Please help my BoD addiction I have problems.

Passive: Anton's Mind Hauler, Sayo's Battle Ready and Dark Cloud Blade

Deck: 3x Draw of the Sword, 1x Yield My Flesh, 2x Slay, 2x Gale Kick, 1x Overthrow

General Invitation Combination: 2x Any Urban Nightmare Books

Kim is a solid trooper to deal with the Hermit since she is mostly weak to slash damage. Clash with Slay, one side the rest. Gale Kick is there for the draw power, and Kim benefit from that single dice due to his Singular Strike. Use Overthrow whenever you feel like you want to apply even more damage.

Passive: Grade 7 & Grade 8 Fixer Page 3's Piercing Prowess, Oscar's Wedge, Jolting Puncture, and Piercer

Deck: Energy Cycle, Frontal Assault, Gap Attack, Extract Fuel, Dagger Press, Gale Kick, Seize Ya Chance, Will of the Prescript, Stiletto

General Invitation Combination: 2x Any Star of the City Books

Finally, someone who somewhat benefit from haste and bind. With Kim being the slash master, Allen is the pierce master. His role is the exact same as Kim, but he boasts speed boost that'll help him intercept dices or set up for guaranteed Servant of Wrath's last shot.

Passive: Salvador's Light of Daybreak and Stigma Workshop Weaponry, Crying Child's Flaring Brand and Volatile Passion

Deck: 3x Frontal Assault, 1x Flash of Sunup, 2x Flow of the Sword, 1x Emotional Turbulence, 1x Sturdy Defense, 1x Forming Storm/Crack of Dawn

Although burn could jeopardize your entire operation, Lowell is still a solid page even without burn with his 4 dices. Raging Storm: Harm could be used as a last resort, but I don't recommend it since you hit Servant of Wrath with it too, at least that happened the last time I tried. His main goal will be sweeping the wooden staves off the board, clearing the way for Servant of Wrath.
Fourth Abnormality - The Uprising
Have you ever watch My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic? I did. Do you believe in Friendship? If you say no, well you better be now because the objective of this suppression is to help Servant of Wrath beat the ever living pony out of the Hermit. If you think you are going to have another PTSD from the Red Mercenary, well I have good news for you: It's extremely easier here.

Servant of Wrath in a Nutshell

LET SERVANT GETS THE LAST HIT OF THE HERMIT.

Hermit's Staff Stats: 100 HP, 50 STG - Always target the Servant of Wrath
Hermit of the Azure Forest Stats: 300 HP, 100 STG, 1x to Slash HP & STG, 1x to Pierce HP, 0.5x to Pierce STG, and 0.5x to Blunt HP & STG
The Exploited: If you kill the Hermit, the battle is lost.
Dear Companion: +5 Power when clashing with Servant of Wrath, immune to DoT damage
Visitor From Another World - While Hermit Staff exist, use mass attack every 2 Scenes
When Two Realms Meet: When every staffs are defeated, always attack Servant of Wrath on their first turn cycle, then commit Mass Attack that summons 2 Hermit's Staff.

Servant of Wrath's Stats: 200 HP, 60 STG, 0.5x to Slash HP & STG, 2x to Pierce HP & STG, and 1x to Blunt HP & STG
Today's Play: If Servant kills Hermit, you win. If Servant dies, the suppression ends.
Blind Rage: Only target Hermit's Staff before Hermit
Sinners from the Otherworlds! - When Hermit's Staff exist, after taking 30 damage, uses a mass attack, then reset the counter.
Boiling Anger: When Hermit targets Servant, uses mass attack, then use it every 2 Scenes.

tl;dr Staffs only target Wrath, Wrath go angy and hit everyone if he takes 30 damage. Hermit goes angy when no staffs exist, everyone go angy and kill each other. LET SERVANT GET THE LAST HIT ON HERMIT.

Abnormality Page Usefulness

Love, Justice, and Greed are useful for sustain and extra damage. Intemperance is great if you are planning on winning a lot of clash with Yujin, but not needing more sustain. Hate is suicidal since these two like to Mass Attack. Yes, even Wrath hits you. Blessing might be useful here if you can get Endure on pierce/blunt since the Hermit and Staffs use only those. Sword Sharpened is too gimmicky for my liking, don't see the point of Road to Happiness, and Despair is probably useless here if you are careful enough. If not, then it's not a bad card to use.

The Strategy - Friendship is Magic

The only tip you need. Yeah, it's that straight forward.

Yeah that's about it. No I'm serious. Allocate all of your resources to lower the Hermit's stagger to ~20 STG, then focus the Staffs down. Servant of Wrath is a strong friend unlike Red. Always redirect Staff's attack to your nugget. When the Hermit uses the first Combat Page picture, use two of your nuggets to redirect every dice. You want to stagger the Hermit on this scene if possible. If not, you gotta fight the entire fight again. This is why I say bring your strongest unit in term of damage here. You are not going to kill her, you are going to stagger her, and lower her health enough so that Servant can finishes her off. When staggered, Servant can deal about 80 HP minimum to the Hermit, plus minus 20, so that's where you want to try and aim for so you can one cycle this.

Another option is to stagger the Hermit on the same scene you kill all the staves. This way, you can set up for just enough damage for Servant of Wrath to land that last hit. Her Mass Attack would deal approximately 30 damage with 10 stack of erosion, beware of that.
Realization - Dreadful Arrangement
First of all, congratulations on reaching this far! I am going to try my best not to spoil this fight, or fangirl over it. So yeah, I'm going to showcase the deck I used to beat this fight instead of "Optimal" deck to fight this. I had a blast using these fun decks, so I want to share with you guys. It's a fun realization game, so focus on having fun!

Author's note: You can use the set up you used to fight Servant of Wrath

Recommended Prerequisites
  • Yujin
  • Farmed Liu Section 1
  • Time and Sanity

The Redeemer - Martyred Proselytes

Passive: Cecil's Fervor and Firm as a Great Mountain (Yes it was listed differently, but that is another option.)

Deck: 3x To Overcome Crisis, 1x Unlock, 2x Sturdy Defense, 2x Fervid Emotions, 1x Boundary of Death

"Accept Nihilism, for He is our eternal companion" - Me
Project Moon finally buff Infinite 4 Yujin to be even stronger and more consistent with Fervid Emotion and Unlock. The same goal applies here, flood your hand to hand lock, then use Fervid Emotion + Overcome Crisis. Sturdy Defense is your stagger regenerator, panic button, and initial draw. With how unlock 1 works, it is best used during emotion level less than 3 to get Unlock III as soon as possible, since Yujin will regain a bit of health per phase, so it will be your substitute to Overcome. Yes, I unironically still use Boundary of Death in my Yujin deck. It is funny, and it works like charm.

Passive: Anton's Mind Hauler, Sayo's Battle Ready and Dark Cloud Blade

Deck: 3x Draw of the Sword, 1x Yield My Flesh, 2x Slay, 2x Gale Kick, 1x Overthrow

General Invitation Combination: 2x Any Urban Nightmare Books

Kim along with Yujin will be your frontliner for this entire realization. Both of them boast powerful and consistent power to plow through most of the fight, especially if you accidentally made Roland hysterical. Bonus point if you got To Claim Thy Bone and used it against Gold Rush's final KO punches.

Passive: Grade 7 & Grade 8 Fixer Page 3's Piercing Prowess, Oscar's Wedge, Jolting Puncture, and Piercer

Deck: Energy Cycle, Frontal Assault, Gap Attack, Extract Fuel, Dagger Press, Gale Kick, Seize Ya Chance, Will of the Prescript, Stiletto

General Invitation Combination: 2x Any Star of the City Books

Allen works wondrously as a Blessed Sword killer in this scenario since all of his dices are pierce. This way, you won't have any problem one-scene the blessed sword during Sword Sharpened with Tears phase. He can also be used as an interceptor during Blind Wrath phase, and even in Gold Rush phase too.

Passive: Salvador's Light of Daybreak and Stigma Workshop Weaponry, Crying Child's Flaring Brand and Volatile Passion

Deck: 3x Frontal Assault, 1x Flash of Sunup, 2x Flow of the Sword, 1x Emotional Turbulence, 1x Sturdy Defense, 1x Forming Storm

Lowell is a solid choice overall with his extra burning chip, albeit semi-useless during Blind Wrath phase. Don't use Forming Storm until you stagger Gold Rush for the last time. Trust me, you will thank me later.

Passive: Valerie's Mind Hauler and Liquefied Corpse

Deck: Energy Cycle, Draw of the Sword, Gigigig, Rewind, Rip Space, Dimensional Rift, Flow of the Sword, Will of the Prescript, Deep Drag

Rose is here for those lucky extra damages, more or less an "extra" character. This is a highlander deck, so it should be easy to understand and easy to use. Just make sure you don't use Rip Space at 8 or lower charge and you'll do fine. Deep Drag is there for the extra damage, since you don't need passive to get the most out of it.

The Redeemer - Proxies' Visit
In case you really want to breeze through this entire fight, here you go.

Passive: Index's Grace of the Prescript + Skim Prescript, and Bono's Unstable Charge

Deck: Unlock, Rush Down, Multislash, Execute, Steel Knuckles, Binding Chain, Will of the Prescript, Eliminate, Castigation

"What if we make Boundary of Death more of a gamble, but less punishing?" - Castigation
That card is insane with the -12 Power to clash and the 1-40 extra damage after use. Ester's original passive is alright, and to be honest, I could've changed Will of the Prescript or Steel Knuckle to something more beefy than draw because of that, but oh well. Castigation will come in clutch for many of the suppression due to straight up free damage, so don't be afraid to spam that. The most fun I had with this is using Castigation against range combat page. Watch the blender man blends the bullets to death!

Passive: Same as above

Deck: Frontal Assault, Unlock, Circus Knifes, Multislash, Trace of Fumes, Somber Procuration, Binding Chains, Will of the Prescript, Decapitation

"What if we make Boundary of Death but consistent, act as bullet, and bleed?" - Decapitation
Who would say no to a good ol' Decapitation on the battlefield? Free damage and bleed, solid all around card to give a middle finger to your enemy. His passive is a little disappointing but oh whale, better than nothing I suppose.

Passive: Same as above

Deck: Unlock, Gigigig, Multislash, Execute, Somber Procuration, Binding Chains, Will of the Prescript, Eliminate, Eradication (or Repressed Flesh if you will)

"What if we buff Request, make it Summation, but Index?" - Eradication
(This joke was made prior to Project Moon reworking Floor of Technology. Request is now a fantastic abnormality card. Back then, it gives you a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ mass attack card that exhaust on use, and hit your friend.)
You thought I would make a Boundary of Death joke, but it was me, Der Freichutz! But seriously, this card is alright from my eye. Any non-EGO mass attack is always appreciated. Her passive is decent, but I don't recommend relying on that instead of having light regeneration.

Passive: Walter's Your Shield, Liu's Fervor, sans's Calmness

Deck: 2x Energy Cycle, 1x Unlock, 1x Energy Shield, 2x Energy Conversion, 1x Opportunity Spotted, 1x Ready Up, 1x Energy Beam

"This has to be comedy hold, the joke of the century!" - Nemo
This deck is highly experimental since I'm planning on using Charge team on either Binah or Chesed floor aka haven't been using it much. It's a bit more on the Defensive side, which I'm perfectly fine with. Energy Beam is a funny card that is super useful to delete a combat page altogether. Nemo was pretty much a spectator in this realization for me. I even forgot he exist for a bit too. Not because this deck is bad or anything, I kinda autopilot a bit too hard lmao.
Realization - The Endeavor; Section 1
Unlike the previous suppression guide, this section will be dedicated entirely towards strategy only, which means no "In a nutshell" section.

Useful Abnormality Pages

Prioritization: Love -> Justice -> Sword -> Greed/Intemperence -> Companion -> ETC.

Since this is a long fight, Love is going to be even more useful here, along with Greed to buff that regeneration. Intemperence is good here too if you want to completely nullify a page. Companion is a niche card, but it's not like you have much of a choice there in Wrath category. I don't see the point of Road to Happiness once again. All of Knight of Despair's abnormality card is not that great here. You probably won't lose a nugget so Despair is eh. Blessing is a double edge sword, but not worth the gamble due to how variety the dices could be. Sword Sharpened with Tears is... I mean, Pale damage is always good, but I personally don't like it soo yeah, not a bad pick if you have a nugget specifically made for that. Acidic Sludge is useless in a phase battle. Hate, even though they reworked it, is not useful here since you will probably going to stagger yourself, and that -1 Cost is not that great in the grand scheme of things. Do not pick Wrath unless you want to kill your nugget for fun.

Quick tl;dr for people that don't want to read through all the sections.

Every single phases are the same from all the previous suppression. Same gimmick, but a tad less heavy on requirements. If you remember what to do on previous suppression, it will still work the same here. 5th phase if you have 3-4 nuggets, you already won.

Phase 1: In the Name of Love and Hate

I'm salty that we didn't get to see Magical Girl Angela, but I will take Satanic Roland with this god tier music. This phase is exactly the same as Queen of Hatred fight, but now you can redirect better, and has beefier damage. Distribute the clash, don't let marked nugget attack Roland, and try to deal as much stagger damage as possible while farming for emotion. Once you get Roland to stagger, just wail on him without your marked nugget just in case. You should be able to delete him before turn 4.

Be mindful of Hysteria gauge. You don't want to get Roland to transform, even if you are capable of killing him. It is not worth the attempt in my opinion, since it slows you down and has more chance of killing your nuggets. As you can see, I try to redirect his attack from my marked, while focusing on doing one-sided damage as much as possible.

In case you made him transform, may RNGesus bless ye. The game plan is the same, but this time you want to make sure he is deader than dead before your nuggets.

Phase 2: Blind Rage

Do your best to spread your attack out, so you can pave the road for Roland to clean up.

The Power of Friendship is strong on this one, since you gotta get Roland to kill the Hermit just like the previous suppression. Since you have 5 nuggets, be aware that you can overkill Hermit if not careful. There is no 100% way to prevent this, but try your best to math your DPS to stagger/kill. The best way I have found is to solely target the Hermit, and stagger the Staves. Letting Roland finishing them off one by one will buy you time to stagger the Hermit, but don't be afraid to kill the Staff if you think Roland can stagger/kill Hermit next turn.

LET ROLAND KILL THE HERMIT. I REPEAT, LET ROLAND KILL THE HERMIT.

Realization - The Endeavor; Section 2
Phase 3; The Sword Sharpened with Tears

Oh boy, at first I thought this phase is going to be painful, but it actually is not considering how strong your deck could be, and the requirement is only to stagger the Blessed Sword. As you can see here, double Somber Procuration with Index Pierce buff with a spice of Unlock III just outright destroys the sword. Remember to conserve your strongest roll card and light for the next sequence. Pale damage is not fun to deal with.

I think you could guess what would happened when I press space. All of my dice value exceed the max of the dice roll here, so it is guaranteed. Meanwhile, the other two are on standby to burst down Roland in one Scene. Again, if you can't do this in one turn, make sure you set up fast, pray to RNGesus that you get it the next scene, or suffer the cycle again. Remember, there is no such thing as overkill.

Phase 4; Gold Rush

This phase is divided into two sequences: Soft and Heavy. Soft is, as you expected, a lot softer than Heavy. You want to burst him down to 50% health as fast as you can here without sacrificing too much in the process, though don't dump everything in just yet. He is Endured to everything, so it might take a while, but with enough nuggets, this should able to be done in two scenes. Clashing wise, always try to go for the win. I know it is hard to do with those high dice rolls, but you should have high amount of health and numbers still. I guess this is where Sword Sharpened with Tears is good.
140 is the magic number. Once you reach the next sequence, survive for 2 more Scenes before full retaliation.

Once you survive for 2 scenes, Roland will trigger this sequence. The marked nugget (one with the golden portal around them) will need to kill 2 crystals. Make sure that you 100% will be able to kill it in one turn with the help of a faster librarian.

Final Phase; Nihil

Petrified Hate, Ossified Despair, Fossilized Greed, Lapidified Wrath, and Nihil himself

Congratulations on reaching the last phase of the fight! If you have 3+ librarians, you already won. If you got 2 or lower, do not fret, you have a chance to win this still!
First and foremost, every librarian must kill a statue in one scene. Just dump everything you got on each statue, your light or deck will not matter anymore. Once you destroy the statues, your nugget will become a Magical Girl that you can control and use. If you don't have 4+ nuggets, prioritize the one from the list below.

The Order of Nihil's Phase: Nihil -> Greed -> Hate -> Despair -> Wrath
Using the corresponding Magical Girl to clash against Nihil's phase will not lower the dice value, also you regenerate all of the cards back and a bit more basically. Hope is spammable and should be spammed.

Note: If you have a mass attack page, use it here. You will be able to destroy every statue, and transform [almost] all of your surviving librarians into Magical Girl immediately without the fear of getting staggered by Nihil.

At this stage of the game, I would say, have fun being a Magical Girl! Clash Nihil using the correct magical girl (Happiness vs Greed, Love vs Hate, Justice vs Despair, Courage vs Wrath), spam Hope every turn whenever you have it, and have fun. Even if you lose some clashes, it's not the end of the world since you got lots of health. It's impossible to lose this fight if you got 4 magical girls.

I will not tell you how you should approach this, as the journey to defeat Nihil is different for each person. Only you can fight your own Nihil, finding the meaning in this futile world. Do not reject Nihil, as he is your eternal companion. Embrace his generosity of giving you another chance to find your reason of existence.

King of Happiness, Queen of Love, Knight of Justice, and Servant of Courage.
Curtain Calls
Thank you for checking this guide out! Hopefully this guide is useful for the suppression of Tiphereth's floor. I know that you can brute force through some of these, or cheese them to hell and back, but that is not why we are here. This floor has always been my favourite, and with the addition of Nihilism, nothing will beats it for me.

If you are wondering how to make the most out of this floor's Abnormality pages and EGO, I would like to point you to my other guide.

First of all let me start by saying that I started doing this today and it got me the closest I was to defeating QoH so far. The original build is good enough to get her to 9 HP in my case but I always either have the last nugget staggered and unable to finish her or just obliterated because he was left alone. I saw a tip here in the comments which looked really useful so I might try that very soon. Don't trust people saying this is garbage. Most likely if played well QoH could be defeated with this very build but I am not a pro player or anything so yeah

@Snakie I looked everywhere but for some reason my units keep getting paralyze ailment by QoH's attacks and I feel like that ailment is random. I looked everywhere and none of the battles demonstrated their units being paralyzed. I looked at the passives on my units and none of them had to do with paralyze ailments. I am confused.

This was tricky, as I didn't realize how to advance the steps/phases and couldn't figure out which magical girl to use.

I ended up taking a LONG time whittling Nihil down bit by bit.

Project Moon has done a great job balancing these abnormality fights to be relatively the same power level as your current progression of the game.

not sure where ^ come from because you unlock QOH at urban plague and now i at urban nightmare half also cant clear, and i dont have jikan hanafuda and half of combat card you listed.
Terreliv Sep 30, 2022 @ 1:12pm
Tailored, used judiciously, fits into the Bleed builds for QoH & can counter her Mass-Attack.
JonkaTheOrk Jul 26, 2022 @ 4:58pm
QoH should just be renamed "Max damage" the fight because she never rolls anything less at least for me
maydayMage Jun 16, 2022 @ 8:33am
Servant of Wrath (both indiv fight and realization) became way more manageable now since the Hermit's passive was changed. Now, it stipulates that only the Servant of Wrath can bring the Hermit's HP below 30. Also, if the Hermit ends the scene with 30 or less HP, it regenerates 50% of its HP, bringing it back up to around 150 or so.

Also it was hilarious cheesing the Nihil fight...
Orliminecraft May 25, 2022 @ 11:47pm
MAKE SURE you have the passives listed on your key pages! It will not work without it! I died 7~ times to QoH without them, but first try'd her with passives.
txh0881 Mar 4, 2022 @ 3:01pm
True, but if Knight is the one who is the main fighter, she can't also spare a slot for Hope.

Basically, it is not bad lcuk-proof.
Snakie  [author] Mar 3, 2022 @ 3:54pm
Unless they change it, it's a 75% draw chance due to how the Magical Girls' deck work. At least Hatred and Knight will always have Hope on hand as long as you keep using all the dices as expected
