Description


Welcome to Expanded Roster: Kislev Reborn. This ambitious project aims to complete and expand the official Kislev lore while taking some liberties and artistic licence in the process. We have created tons of content including custom models, abilities, technologies, skills and spells.

This is a labour of passion that took many months to complete. Our love for Kislev and support from the modding community led to the release of this mod.





Kislev Reborn includes 2 Legendary Lords to choose from: Tzar Boris Bokha and his daughter, Tzarina Katarin Bokha. In addition, 2 generic Lords, 5 generic Heroes, 30+ units and 8 Regiments of Renown are available to recruit. The full roster can be found here.

This mod also adds a unique campaign mechanic to Kislev called Resilience.

Resilience represents Kislev's will to defend itself. It is banked over 6 levels, letting it fall too low will cause adverse effects. It will decrease every turn by -5 and can be earned via some techs, from high tier walls and taverns but mainly from defeating "evil armies". Resilience can also be spent on unlocking certain techs and unit upgrades.

Nyvena's Host is an Ungol faction available in Custom Battles and also spawns as a horde/nomadic faction on Turn 100. They are not available as a playable faction in the campaign.





- Mixu's Unlocker and Mod Configuration Tool: Reborn are both REQUIRED. MCT allows the player to spawn a Vampire faction in Praag. Click on the settings in the main menu to choose the faction you want to spawn.
- AI Kislev will normally use our assets for those who wish to play as another faction and run our mod in the background.
- All units are balanced for vanilla.

It was a massive work for which many talented folks contributed. I wish we had the same passion to port it over, but the years passed and we moved on. The closest I can think for WH3 is The Motherland mod and Calm's Kislev. But all still keep the ugly chaos warriors bodies that CA chose as base for the Kislevites :(

Very based @Decomposed, I think your mod's great and the effort gone into it is admirable. My friend Chaplain hated WH3's Kislev, and I think he's been enjoying your mod recently. Thank you for making it.

This is pretty much the version of Kislev most of us expected to see in WH3. Grounded, realistic, grim, but obviously with their share of magical and mythological elements (this is warhammer after all!)

Sadly, the texture format changed in WH3, so porting this over would essentially mean building everything from the ground up. This mod took 1,5 year to develop, so even if we only remake the models, it would still require heavy work and countless hours :(

I too prefer this look for Kislev as it is closer to their original visuals and lore, compared to CA's decision to design the Kislevites as big and muscular as the Norscans.

Makes sense, sfo has a whole different method of balance

If you are playing sfo dont use this mod,it might seem obvious but the entirety of kislev fell over not even 50 turns in,it did make the norscans and moulder expand like crazy,and from a couple of turns in their auto resolve is unexpectedly weak,they cant defeat their turn 1 enemy army even with 18 units in the army

use only if you find a sfo compatability patch
