Build Your Own City - Becoming a Lord [ALPHA] - Tier 2

Join the steam group page for the game I'm currently developing, NOVA:

NOTICE: This is an alpha! This work is only two thirds complete and there may be bugs!
NOTICE 2: You have to have subtitles turned on!
Use this mod on Nexus if the subtitles are going by too fast! This![]

To my subscribers (Dec 2014): I assure you that the project is NOT dead and buried, T3 will one day be complete, it is just not feasible for me to work on it at this time (University Work takes priority). As such, work will likely not be resumed until May 2015.

Wow! Thanks everyone for getting me on the top page here and now 60000 subscriptions and over 9000 favourites! This is more than I ever anticipated, thank you!

Tier 2 Has Been Officially Released! To Begin, Speak to Drust Verilas!

Welcome to my ongoing multi-month project: Becoming a Lord

In Becoming a Lord, you start with nothing but land and must build it up into a glorious city!

Build at your own pace, raise your income, buy resources and work your way to greatness.

Current Features Include
-Second Tier Lord's House
-Several Houses with NPCs
-Full weekly tax income system based on number of houses built
-Resource system for building and upgrading structures
-5 Merchants and one inn
-Full NPC AI Packages
-Full Guard System with unique Crime Hold and Jail
-Guard upgrades
-A political system within your own town
-New Special Buildings, such as the Temple

Planned Features Include
-Second and Third tier for city, with better buildings!
-A diplomatic system with the other holds, with alliance possibilities, trade opportunities, and eventually war!
-A diplomat, and a court wizard
-Ability to hold court with the officials of your town
-Bigger scale internal decisions
-Eventual overhaul of the exterior, giving you choices about decoration!
-When it is complete, voice work being done for npcs
-Trade depots for income
-Stable for cross-mod compatibility
-Follower barracks for cross-mod compatibility

Currently this mod is two thirds complete. You can only build up until the end of the 2nd Tier of the city. Eventually, there will be an update with the third tier of the city complete in which you can build special houses and many more bundles of features.

If you have any questions, or reports of bugs, feel free to PM me or any of the moderators on steam and I / they will respond as soon as possible.

This release is mostly for feedback and reports of any early issues, so try to take it lightly!

TO BEGIN: Go to Haelgas Bunkhouse in Riften, you should be able to find the NPC to start the quest in there.
TO BEGIN TIER 2: Speak to Drust Verilas in your tier 2 player house after you have built all Tier 1 structures.

Although, yes he did mention (keep in mind, this was back in 2014) that work would continue in 2015. Well, In that case it's still been years without any sign of life so I doubt that's still holding up by now. And no, just because we're not bombarded with notifications every month it doesen't mean something is dead, but no notifications, hints, information (you name it) in 4 years probably does. It was a big project with seemingly little manpower, so It's not surprising it would be left discontinued. Nah, I belive this mod is dead. People lose interest and move on. The mod author probably has quite some time ago.
Nuff' said.
Take care, everyone!

Yeah, this mod is dead.
There's been no updates or notifications from the mod author or anyone else invovled in 4 years. And It hit the 4 year mark literally a month ago. It's highly unlikely for a mod this old to still be worked on if there's been no word about it for this long. While It could've just been put on ice, I find that highly unlikely since I would believe a notice about that would've been dued a long time ago.
umm ive gotten to the part where my house is meant to be build i loaded up the save again restarted my gain like 10 times dosent work what do i do and the advisors disappeared from the winking skeever any help?
