Tier 1 Stories: Afghanistan

Description
Overview: SINGLEPLAYER

For the last 20 years, Tier 1 units have been at the forefront of America's fight against Global Terrorism. In this mission you'll be joining United States Special Mission Units (SMUs) in iconic battles across the last two decades in Afghanistan. There are 6 total missions within this scenario. Four of which are SMU-based and the last two you'll have to see for yourself. The years for these missions are:

2001 - AFO Wolf
2002 - AFO Poseidon
2006 - CAG
2010 - DEVGRU
2014 - ?
2017 - ?


Mission Features:

-One of a Kind Scenario with 6 Missions in 1
-Handmade Immersive Environments and Furnished Buildings (Caves, Compounds, etc)
-Almost 500 AI in Game with Minimal Effect on FPS
-Dynamic Gameplay
-Era Specific Gear and Set Pieces
-Save Points Throughout


Note: This is a big scenario. An effect on fps is possible. I recommend tweaking view settings and graphics as necessary to make it run well. I'm able to play it smoothly on a laptop.

@kiba3x, Was that at the initial entrance of the cave? Because that asset comes from either the JBAD or the CUP mod and was like that to begin with. I noticed it when I was first making it. You would just fall through if you were walking along it. Unfortunately there is nothing I can do about that. With a handmade cave there are going to be some unavoidable issues. I'd just stay off of the walls for now. Thanks for play testing and helping me out though.

This was a very experimental mission. For more simple well running scenarios, I recommend checking out some of my older ones. They're quite varied.

If you keep going on the left side of the wall of the cave your character eventually will fall through. And there is wrong lightning on some of the walls.

@kiba3x, thanks for playing and thanks for the feedback. One thing I would say is different about this scenario is that this scenario has 6 full size scenarios within it. Versus a scenario with one mission within it. There are over 1300 handplaced objects and close to 500 ai. So due to the scale of it, there will be a bit of an effect on fps. That being said, any chance you know where in the cave you fell through? It was handmade and not a bohemia asset, so some bugs are to be expected.

I just played another user made mission without any fps issues on ultra setting. There was tanks, ZUs, lots of infantry, everything. But it was Takistan map. I think Lythium is buggy, in the cave I fell through a wall to my death. I wouldn't recommend this one, it need re-working.

@kiba3x, when playing user made scenarios I recommend turning your view distance down and possibly some graphical settings. All of the hand placed objects/ai in user made scenarios have an effect on fps.

Why all workshop scenarios look like a mess and gave low fps? Bohemia missions are lor more complicated and have good fps.

@iamcollin, the AI are unable to path find in the first mission because the cave is all handmade. So I have disabled their movement. Were you able to get up the ladder at least?
