Welcome to the FE Tabletop Fan Project: Anna's Roundtable!

Anna's Roundtable is a 45 to 60 minute turn based 1 v 1 tactical board game.

Each player takes on the role of a commander, drawing a hand of 6 unit cards from a shared deck of over 200 cards illustrated by over 100 fan artists. You and your opponent will take turns deploying and maneuvering your units in order to capture map objectives and defeat enemy units. Along the way, you'll also buy and use cards from Anna's Shop, manipulate the map using Dragon Veins, and leverage the power of the classic weapon triangle.

Will you come out ahead as the superior commander? Or just a stepping stone for your opponent's story?


Anna's Roundtable is a board game fan project that I've been designing for over 4 years now. With the help of midoriyaizuhugs, our lead artist, and over 100 talented fan artists, the project has gained a life beyond anything I could have imagined.

I just checked for the first time for a few months. Are the art and the components in the mod the final print version? That'd be exciting!

One problem I have is that cards don't go black when in someone else's hand, instead they use another cards artwork for some reason

@Coningg for sure, theres alot of information to process during the game. I would consider this a medium weight game, similar to other board games like summoner wars and stonebound saga.

Theres a good number of things to keep track of, especially during the first few games. I would not consider it a gateway game at all, nor a light game in general. If you're interested, I'd recommend games like Warchest and Warriors of Jogu for much lighter but still incredibly deep tactical dueling games.

Taunt allows for counter play where if you use a ruins tile to block the path, it nullifies the taunt effect.

It's only when that unit is activated, if they can attack the taunter, that they must move to attack them.

I had an absolute blast playing this game. But during play I had a situation come up with the taunt skill, and I was curious about getting some clarification. The skill says the Unit must Activate and attack the target If Possible, is the intended counterplay to this making the target unable to reach the target, such as placing a ruin in their path during your turn, or are you supposed to activate and Attack with the taunted unit as your first activation during the turn without being able to attempt to remove their ability to attack first. My friend and I could not agree on a ruling, so I'm curious what the intended thought process is

Players say more than they do,one always tells the other the effect between the unit tag and the map type when moving.
In addition, it is necessary to explain the calculation process to the opponent at all times in combat, and mention weapon triangle, tag,ability and shop card.
If this is an online game and there is a system to assist you, it will be a very good game, but in the board game, players need to do all the things themselves. Their attention are all used to explain to each other and listen to each other's words, and even have no extra energy to arrange their own tactics
