The AI does not contact human players on its own in network multiplayer games (internet and lan).
This mod activates the ai to contact human players like the ai does in singleplayer games.

To use this mod, you need to know how to play with mods in multiplayer. This mod is compatible with my MP Modmanager:

This mod is a Brave New World mod and it is not compatibe with other mods modifying the GameCore DLL.

I consider the mod as being beta. It worked in a short playtests both Hotseat and Network Multiplayer in conjunction with my CiV Multiplayer Mod Manager. Pitboss is untestet.

Is the only file this mod modifies CvGameCore_Expansion2.dll? Reason for asking is if I overwrite the original file manually would everything with this mod be functioning in LAN games, or is there more files installed by the Modmanager. So far it seems to work well, played LAN games with it and didn't have to put the Modmanager on each computer.

Also is there any plan to make the graphic part(leader animations) of the AI contacting you function in networked games?

One last question. If I leave the CvGameCore_Expansion2.dll in place, then play my single player games would the AI be affected in anyway?

its literally the most tilting, frustrating, annyong thing in the game. ... or maybe i have to become a modder myself. but im lazy. so plss make a mod for singeplayer to make the AI behave like in multiplayer -> not talking anymore. quiet diplomacy is good, but does not even half the job. STOP THEM FROM TALKING! o.O NOW!!! ... thx

@Tomboeg thanks for the answer. To have a clear reference for myself and any possible future bypasser: this mod, though greatly improving AI behaviour, does not make AI in MP declare war on a human player. Correct?

@Erdtod. I believe it only makes the AI send offers and doesn't alter the AI behavior like artificial unintelligence/smart ai does.

This did work for us: AI contacted us with trade offers and different messages. But so far it didn't declare war on any of us, even though it amassed quite an army near the borders of one of us. (We played as 3 in a team). I don't know if that's because we're in a team and are considered more powerful by the "Immortal" AI, or because it's still doesn't happen in MP. If anyone knows, please let me know - since not being challenged by the AI makes team matches vs it pointless... IDK why did 2K simplify the AI for the multiplayer...
