[MOD] How to unlock conduit rooms (reward for playing Dead Space: Ignition arcade game on console)

Conduit rooms are special areas in Dead Space 2 accessible only to Xbox 360 and PS3 players who had a savegame file from Dead Space: Ignition. There are 4 rooms throughout the game and each contained various loot as well as exclusive audio and text logs left behind by Franco Delille. For players without aforementioned savegames (Or for PC players), these rooms will remain locked.

Installation

First step, download the mod from the link below:

Use 7-Zip[www.7-zip.org] or Winrar[www.rarlab.com] to open the file and extract the content.

Go to the Dead Space 2 install folder root (usually "x:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\deadspace2\")

Depending on your game version, you may need to do some file shuffling to make this mod work.

!!! !!! DO NOT OVERWRITE DS2DAT0.DAT !!! !!!

If you have a DS2DAT0.DAT, you'll need to rename all existing DS2DAT#.DAT to one number higher, eg:

DS2DAT0.DAT -> DS2DAT1.DAT
DS2DAT1.DAT -> DS2DAT2.DAT
DS2DAT2.DAT -> DS2DAT3.DAT
DS2DAT3.DAT -> DS2DAT4.DAT
DS2DAT4.DAT -> DS2DAT5.DAT
DS2DAT5.DAT -> DS2DAT6.DAT
DS2DAT6.DAT -> DS2DAT7.DAT
DS2DAT7.DAT -> DS2DAT8.DAT
DS2DAT8.DAT -> DS2DAT9.DAT
DS2DAT9.DAT -> DS2DAT10.DAT

Then extract DS2DAT0_CONDUIT4PC.DAT and rename it to DS2DAT0.DAT.

Play game.

You have to restart the game from the first chapter to make every conduit rooms unlocked.

i can see the conduit room but it's locked, i'm install the mod at start of chapter 9, first play through, can yoiu explain it.... hope your answer
