Backpacks Expanded 2.0 (Quivers added!)

Description

Update 2.0 is LIVE!
After making my own faction/armor mod I decided to get back to Backpacks Expanded and deliver some of my promises regarding it. So the main focus of this update are quivers! I've also refied some stats and tweaked a couple of textures based on the feedback I've been given, hopefully the backpack will feel a bit more usefull for you all.

Backpacks:
-Adventurer's Backpack
-Darkened Adventurer's Backpack [NEW!]
-Leather Backpack (Previously known as "Improvised Leather Backpack")
-Thieves Tool Belt
-Refitted Oil Drum Backpack [Craftable]
-Improvised Backpack [Craftable]

Backpacks enchance the gameplay by adding more variery among the containers. Some of them are good for sneaking, some weight a ton but have a lot of storage space (old fashioned strength training anyone?).

Backpacks can be bought at most 'travel and gear' shops scattered around the world.

Quivers:
-Big Bolt Quiver [NEW!]
-Small Bolt Quiver [NEW!] (Needs different texture from the Big Bolt Quiver)
-Improvised Metal Quiver [NEW!]
-Improvised Mesh Quiver [NEW!]
-Improvised Leather Quiver [NEW!]
-Improvised Wooden Quiver [NEW!]

Quivers are light and are used to store ammunition for crossbows. They can't fit anything else than bolts most of the time but they offer great stacking. Ideal for non haulers and dedicated crossbowmans.

Quivers offer limited storage space but they also have increased stacking and weight reduction. It's still equally good to store your bolts in a backpack. Quivers are supossed to be a cosmetic, roleplay item that still has a viable function in the game.

They can also be worn with some backpacks! The bonuses will stack, but only one item will be visible on the character. To access the invisible container inventory, just click the visible one with left mouse button. (At least that's how it worked for me)

Quivers can be bought at at almost every 'ranged' shops scattered around the world.

Crafting Station:
-Crafting Junk Pile [NEW!]

The station can be built anywhere, doesn't create an outpost. You need 10 iron ore to build it and it takes a longer while.

Every item with "Improvised" in it's name will be craftable by using 5 iron ore and 2 animal skins.

Unfortunately, backpack crafting wasn't properly implemented in to the game by the developer and the result is that the backpacks/quivers are crafted instantly and the recipe can't be different for each one.

Hah, sorry it's completely made up. But I guess I could take some inspiration from The Last of Us, the game not the piece of shit show. Joel had a backpack that the design I like and one could say, I made the best looking backpack in my opinion as the best you can get :D

Just for curiosity: did you designed the adventurer backpack (both normal and darkened) by yourself, or took inspiration from a specific in real life backpack? I'm looking for something similiar to those

I've tried that, only items in the bag slot act as backpack. Even if it would work, you would still have conflict with the backpack, the game just wouldn't know which one to prioritize.

The quivers I made are more of a roleplay item than an actual gameplay feature. They aren't ment to be used together with backpacks. I made this mod for myself at first and I hated that every character needs a backpack because otherwise they aren't usefull. I did fail to communicate it in a clear way in the description.

Ah. Hum... What about putting quivers on the belt slot? Would it still work as bags or they wouldn't work?

Unfortunately Kenshi applies stack modifier to all the items, there's no way to separate this, so the backpack and the quiver would only be visual.

that does give me access to it. but i will have to test with some bandits to see if the bolts get acessed. I wonder if it is possible to make a backpack that already has a quiver attached and only the bolts can stack to 5+

I think the game prioritizes the backpack that was put in it's slot as last one. Simply left clicking to 'pick it up and drop again' should do the job, although I'm not sure as I tested that years ago now.

It seems that wearing backpack and quiver at the same time dont really work as bolts in the quiver dont seem to be recognized
