Nautilus

The Nautilus has gained a HUGE update with more to come! I have added a burst fire mode for the turrets, an alarm system that informs you of the dangers that come up in a particular room and redesigned some of the rooms, with more to come when creativity strikes me :)
I will also program a system to incoprate upgrades to keep the system usable, I just have to find a smooth way to implement it without a lot of incremental steps.

The Nautilus

Greetings fellow sailor! Did you ever want to venture into the deep but the sweet pea or eel was not enough anymore? And did you try a bigger sub, but it was too much to do to handle everything properly?

No need to worry anymore! The Nautilus, the legendary ship manufactured for the eccentric billionaire Francis De Moir is calling for a captain (and a crew of course)! This ship was build with the best materials money should buy and in a way to keep itself running on low maintenance while still having the firepower to play with the big boys of the playground (some sources also claim De Moire claimed the rights of ordering nuclear warheads from military stations).

Features:
- A well laid out design for low maintenance and protection (for example the reactor and all its junction boxes is mid decks so your engineer has everything in one place)
- A powerful engines is driving the ship of top speeds beyond 45 km/h!
- double layered front to give some extra protection on front attacks
- two next generation MKII double barrelled coilguns (top and bottom), a front mounted railgun (with an additional coilgun for the small stuff) and water bombs deliver never seen blows to any threat that might cross your path!
- intelligent battery programs run an optimised power management to prevent over voltage and keep the reactor in a constant, manageable level
- A medbay with a medical fabricator with the lasted upgrades money can buy
- A Deconstructor and fabricator make you independent from stations and their resources
- Lights only trigger via motion detector
- Alien detector over the whole ship!
- a secure cache, only available for the captain and his security
- multipurpose airlocks. All of them can be used as a double for docking


In addition, the Nautilus is accompanied by its shuttle the „Moby ♥♥♥♥“. This shuttle is used for getting closer to ruins and wrecks. And although not armed by itself, the Moby ♥♥♥♥ has a lot of features to accomplish its duties. And when its docked with its mothership, it goes into a symbiotic connection to support it.

Rich Ladies, Gentlemen and Diverse! Open your ears! Open your eyes! Open your purses! The Nautilus was upgraded to a Juggernaut Edition!

Automised hatches that close when in contact with water? Check!
Automatic switching to battery when the fuel runs out? Check!
Automatic turret rotation and firing on these damn Aliens? CHECK!
More powerful engine? CHECK!
Heckler for the front? CHECK!

Disclosure: This ship needs a lot more fuel and for longer battery life the oxy-generator is switched off. It has to be actived again manually. The Autoturrets eat energy thus they can not be activated all the time. This is a ship for harder enviroments, like the "Into the Abyss"-Mod. Otherwise it will outperform in the average game, which may lead to to a loss in difficulty. Have fun!


The ship itself was built as a masterpiece in itself after the plans ans visions of De Moire. His goal was to have a small, self sustaining arc in a world that he saw as corrupted and misbehaving. The deeper he got into the topic, the more he identified with Cpt. Nemo of Jule Verne’s novel „20.000 leagues below the seas“ and the whale Moby ♥♥♥♥ from the Novel of Charles Dickens. He went deeper and deeper, in a rush of finding a place where city where the artist would not fear the censor. Where the scientist would not be bound by petty morality. Where the great would not be constrained by the small….
So who are you? Cpt. Nemo? His successor? Or someone completely else? Find it out!

PS: the ship only partly stocked up. To play the ship as intended, buy 7 shotguns at first start and throw them into the sea, so you have a starting money of 1.7k. This will make the games a lot more interesting….Have fun :)
