Description
The NSW TrainLink H set, or OSCAR (Outer Suburban CAR), service the outer cities connected to Sydney, such as Newcastle, Kiama, and Springwood. Beyond these destinations NSW TrainLink runs services on trains like the Endeavour, Xplorer and XPT class.

This set consists of two sets of 4 cars connected. The connectors are their own trailers to make them look a bit smoother on curves, and the control cars correctly display white or red headlights depending on their direction. The middle control cars have no lights. Each car (not including the connectors) has a capacity of 80, for a total of 640 passengers.

I'm proud of this one, but I'm at my wits end with the asset editor after finishing. There will be no 6-car set until I feel like it, which may be never. It's not real.

Nice screenshots courtesy of JenperTC!

I've downloaded your Queensland trains and they're all great, but it'd be amazing if you did one of the Tilt trains from up there, thanks again for all the great assets you've uploaded

Does anyone have a link to a suburban style train station that would accommodate an 8 car train, such as this one? I have been searching for a while. Any info would be awesome. :-)

Subscribe to and enable modtools. When you select any building or vehicle it will have a new button on the info panel to dump it. It will dump it to the import folder. Go to cslmodding.info for information, I can't walk you step by step in a comments thread.

how do you dump the asset?

I figured you had some experience if you were asking for permission.. you'll need to use ModTools to 'dump' the asset, that extracts all the parts (the 3 main meshes, the textures, the LOD meshes and LOD textures). You could then assess whether you can just paint over the original textures or if you need to make a fresh one and a new UV map.. then you'd need to re-assemble it using the Extended Asset Editor mod.

Thank you very much Robert. Awesome work. It's full collection of Sydney Trains in my city now.

you have my permission to dump+reskin the A set to the B set. Recommend dumping the 6-car one, not sure if I ever got around to fixing the normal smoothing on the 8-car. No plans to make the NIF, not this year at least.
