Fist Weapons of Kenshi (Belt Edition)


Adds the Katar, Tekko and Tekko-Kagi as belt slot items.
They boost martial arts in various ways, but with a penalty to attack due to being in the belt slot.
You can craft them with a Fist Weapon Workbench.

Locations and stuff (potential spoilers):
You can find all the fist weapons in weapon shops around the world.
You can learn how to craft them just like you would with normal weapons, starting at Basic Weapon Grades.
Meitou/Cross versions of the fist weapons can be found in Black Desert City.

Bruh. You try effectively using a sword while you have 7 inch blades attached to both of you hands. They're meant to augment martial arts, it would be busted if it let you use a weapon normally. Besides, why are you complaining, they make training attack EXTREMELY easy.

Wanted to make a claw mod some day so at least I can help you perfect yours :D.
Just test it well cause any missing stuff can crash the game. Weapon slot wasn't mean't for armors ^^

Thanks! I didn't know you could put armor items there. Will do that and make a separate version for it. :)

@Sudo Modding : There is indeed one example, . It's a shield mod, but the same concept applies, it's an armor (aka "clothing" item, tied to primary weapon slot).
And I actually used it as a test, it works.

However, there are rules/contraints for this specific case to work:
You have to add in the modfiles the .material created when you export as a mesh, or it will crash.
You have to use the primary weapon slot, preferably an at least 4 or 5 width and 2 height icon size. Or it will crash.
You can sell it, you can craft it, but you can't spawn it on npc. Not because it would crash, but because they just don't spawn as for belt items.

I think nobody found a way to make weapons behave like fist, except for the belt slot "trick". In the game code it's more a piece of armor around the hand which boost martial art. By the way nice work as always

@Skharr Turis: nope. You can set an armor on weapon slot, it has some specific rules though.
You can also use martial arts for an actual weapon.
