Izzet's Kingdoms for MTG EDH

Description
A set of meta-rules and role cards to apply to add a new level of gameplay to a game of Commander. These are from my homegame version of Standard Kingdoms for 4-7 players and Nobles Kingdoms for 4-9 players

Hidden roles are added to add a political motive to your wonton mage slaying. Follow the instructions on the Chests to dead out one Role Card to each player. No one (except the King, or if the Usurper kills the King) can reveal who they are until the game is over. You can claim to be a particular role, but you cannot reveal your card.

In Standard, the roles are:
King - The King starts at 50 life, and goes first. The goal of the king is to be the last man standing.
Knight - The goal of the Knight is to protect the King. If the King and the Knight are the last two standing, they both win.
Bandit - The goal of the Bandit is to kill the King. If the King dies, the Bandits win, regardless of who is still in the game.
Assassin - The goal of the Assassin is to kill everyone else first, and then the King last.
Usurper - The goal of the Usurper is to deliver the killing blow to the King. If this happens, the King and Usurper swap role cards. The Usurper's life total goes to 50, and the previous King remains in the game as the new Usurper at 10 life.
Jester - The goal of the Jester is to be killed by the King before 3 other players are defeated. If 3 other players are defeated before you are, your role switches to Assassin, and you must try to fulfill that role as normal.

Nobles is a bit more complex with each there being multiple different types of the same role card each having specific rules, interactions and abilities. Further details, the individual roles, and some thoughts of a dear friend of mine regarding the Nobles Expansion can be found at http://www.scottymakesgames.com/scotty-talks-games/2017/7/26/mtg-advanced-kingdoms
