After 18 March 2021 Update ---->>>> Warfare Expanded: Reloaded has been split in three parts: Warfare Expanded: Relodaded, Warfare Expanded: Warships and Warfare Expanded: Warplanes. All these parts now carry the WE CV art. The split was done to improve performance and reduce mod sizes. Description
Adds lots of new global land, sea and air units to Civilization 6. Adds new Fire Support line to land units, Naval Bombard line to sea units and Ground Attack line to air units. New Marine line has also been added.

Cultural variation (CV) for all civs is complete for Ancient, Classical, Medieval, Renaissance and Modern Eras. Work continues until all units receive a CV look.

Requires Rise & Fall and Gathering Storm. Use of the remaining DLCs is recommended for optimal unit art appearance. Also compatible with New Frontier but not required.

Works with Steel & Thunder: Unique Units, but the mod is no longer continuously supported, there might be discrepancies.

  • Some custom civs are breaking the unit.ardef unit replacement so unit cultural variation is not applying properly.
  • City Styles - Reports that possibly compatible now if you disable Maya pack.

WARNING
There is currently an issue that can cause crashes or glitches when playing with this mod, City Styles (CS), Urban Complexity (UC) and the New Frontier Pass (NFP) DLC's at the same time, apparently due to a limit in the number of custom assets the game can load. This can be fixed by disabling either this mod, CS, UC or some of the NFP DLC's. Specifically disabling CS, the persona packs and scenarios seems to get the best results.

Upgrade from Aircraft Carrier to Supercarrier at your own risk. Please remove all aircraft from Aircraft Carrier before upgrading or you will loose your planes. I have no fix for this.
Language Support
English, Italian (thanks to d_iperione), German (thanks to Sincius), Korean (thanks to nut9931), Chinese (thanks to siau2tie1 & 黑板水墨画), Russian (thanks to Tolerant), Japanese (thanks to HktkNban) and French (sorry cannot remember who) language support.

Known language issues
If you use an unsupported language this mod will most likely be in Russian or German. Not sure why as English is the base text. Only workaround is to set English as your default language in options.

I really wish there was a light version of this mod or if these units were split up into groups that can be downloaded as stand alone mods.

I had Warfare Expanded 1-3 downloaded and installed. Unfortunately the mod does not recognize that I have the R&F! Initially, I bought the game as Vanilla, did not get R&F. Later when GS was released, or sometime after, it was sold as an all in one expansion. GS included R&F, and everything available in R&F is available on my game, without having the R&F installed seperately, because it was all included with the GS package, at least when I got GS. I don't know if everyone has had the same experience.

I never bought R&F standalone dlc, but I got R&F content with GS... yet, your mod does not recognize that, and therefore I had to remove! I hope you can fix this! I was antivipating new units. I used to have MOAR mods, and was told they may been responsible breaking my machine when I played, and that your mods for more units was much more efficient than MOAR mods, but now I don't have either!

Here's to hoping you can fix it!

They should have merged similar civ cultures together. That brings down assets. No new units. Also brings down assets. Or something like "1 unique unit per civ". But not so many units. That would make this mod playable. It's a shame that such a great mod is not a part of the base game, but oh well.

Yeah, the idea is cool and all, but the game crashes with these mods an awful lot on a system that is waaaay too powerful for Civ6...

A lot of the mod's choices are also questionable, like extra units being added just 1 technology after their predecessor.
The extra units also mean that you will have a far smaller window to make use of any unique units - which makes UUs far less valuable.
