Information

There are twenty-five eggs in each of the major cities (Markath, Riften, Solitude, Whiterun, and Windhelm) and twenty in each of the smaller holds (Dawnstar, Falkareth, Morthal, and Winterhold). All the eggs are outdoors and within city limits. There are a total of forty-one of each of the five egg types equaling two-hundred and five eggs!

The eggs are worth 500 gold each and can be sold to vendors for profit. They can also be used as Alchemy ingredents! Each of the five egg types has different Alchemical effects.

Version Information

Version 1.0. Please report any inaccessible eggs or other bugs and I will fix them ASAP

Version 1.1. Fixed the inaccessible eggs

Version 1.2 - Adjusted the physics on the eggs so they should not be kicked around by NPCs any longer and should remain where I placed them until picked up. This should finally resolve all the inaccessible egg issues.

You should be able to find them. This is last years version so it should still be working normally. The message below was in regards to the version I'm working on for this year.

A word to the wise... Be wary of other mods when doing the hunt. Mods that improve terrain, snow, rocks, etc. or add decorations to towns and cities can make the eggs inaccessible by burying them below the terrain or within decorations.

Update: Whiterun, Solitude, Windhelm, Markarth, Riften, and Falkreath are completed and ready for launch. Only have Dawnstar, Morthal, and Winterhold left to finish and it will be ready for upload. Check back in a couple more days.

Yes, I will be adding six to ten new egg textures and reworking the old ones to look more eggish. If everything goes according to plan there will be five new special eggs in each of the five major Holds (Markath, Riften, Solitude, Whiterun, and Windhelm) plus one golden egg in each. There will also be three special eggs in each of the four lesser Holds (Dawnstar, Falkareth, Morthal, and Winterhold) and one silver egg in each.

The Gold and silver eggs will grant the player god mode for a short time and the special eggs will have lore snippets about the city they are in attached to them that can be read when they are first picked up, as well as powerful potion effects.

I am also double checking every egg, improving the physics, and a number of other small improvements to this original version. The 2013 edition will be posted as a new mod. The link will be provided here.

New Easter Eggs! I was just wandering around Whiterun and glimpsed a new egg! This made me so disproportionately happy. I love both of your egg mods - they add a great bit of fun throughout the whole game. The descriptions of the eggs are hilarious too. Good work!
