Description
Spread your rule across the Rimworld with self governing colonies that are loyal to you and you alone. Command them to fight in your name, and destroy your enemies. But politics is always a deadly game.

Events will periodically influence your colonies, or your faction as a whole. You must decide how best to respond to these situations. And beware, a poor guiding hand will have consequences, your faction may lose faith in your leadership entirely, and take their destiny into their own hands.

Your colonists will pay taxes, be it in silver, or goods. You can tell them where you want your taxes, and they will dutifully pay them. A fully customizable faction name and title allows you to put your own spin on your subjects. They can be feudal vassals, a megacorporation’s branch offices, or even a shining beacon of truth and liberty. It is all part of the greater story.

yeah but a few heavily fortified settlements within a tile or two of trade ones, so one covers the other and slowly expand outwards

@Apostle of Ebola I find there are a few ways to ensure that you are well defended. #1 have a large settlement with military barracks #2 expand to more colonies #3 ensure that that all colonies have the "automatically defending attacked settlements" set to true. #4 In the overview, take the trait that gives +2 to defense.

So what happens then is that if you are attacked say that you have a colony with level 4 and 3, the 4 should have 6 defense and the 3 should have 4 and that should fight off almost anything that comes at you.

@Apostle of Ebola AFAIK, there currently doesn't seem to be. It's pure RNG unfortunately, which is why I have stopped using it.

I don't want to sound negative however, the mod needs some more time to mature. It's a fantastic concept, but also still largely in beta. We need to be patient with the authors to come up with something that is fully playable.

Is there a way to properly defend settlements? I have a militeristic faction, a level 3 settlement, barracks, artillery and a training yard. The thing just gets attacked every week by something 2-3 military levels above it and usually looses, prosperity is so low that assinging workers is just costing money. The faction isn't even my ally anymore.

@Comrade Corwin You may have to overwrite one of the existing icons. I tried searching the mod's xml files for the faction icon names and didn't find anything, so the list may be hard-coded somewhere. If you do overwrite an icon, your change will be reverted every time this mod updates, so keep a copy of the file around.

The settings are confusing to me, what does the 25 tithe modifier mean? 25% of the silvers worth you would be getting as an income from the resource? Or is that something thrown at you like (25 = 100%, 50 = 200% defualt modifier etc.), meaning that 50 would give you 200% that of the silvers worth?

Does anyone know what file do I need to edit to make it appear as an option? I'm not having any luck finding it...

-Could we have a button that moves a bulk amount of people or ctrl click move all / 5 per click. When you start getting 20+ workers and you need to move them all from one job to another it takes a very long time.
