Odinblade's Aerotheurge Class Overhaul Add-On - Physical Teleportation

Description
This mod requires my Aerotheurge Overhaul to play, install it here:
Odinblade's Aerotheurge Class Overhaul

Despite Telportation being an Aerotheurge skill, it dealt Physical damage. Subsequently, in my Aerotheurge Overhaul, I changed it's damage type to be Air damage.

Whilst this change has been proving useful for a lot of players, it hindered the experience for others. I have created this add-on to remediate this change for those who dislike this change.

What does this add-on do?
  • Changes the damage type on Teleportation back to Physical.

Where should this be in the load order?
Place this mod anywhere below the OdinCore and Odinblade's Aerotheurge Class Overhaul mods.

(chara limit doublepost)

"The damage of the spells depends on the character level and intelligence, but also depends on the weight of the object or character teletransported, for example, if you teleport a heavy painting into a bunch of enemies, it would do more damage that a lighter objetc."

It's very cheesy, I tried (got 2 tons of items in Lady Vengeance) it on Dallis... to deal 30ish dmg. Not more than what the spell said. It's seem the dmg for both enemies hit is the same..?

Anyway, perhaps that's something you could work on ? Not for cheesing, but that could make sense to separate the two instances of the dmg to make the "getting hit by a falling enemy" part scale with the falling enemy's hp/armor/weight.

Anyway OdinBlade I wish you the best for 2021, you're a gem to the community.

Peace~~

It does make sense indeed.

Do you know how the damage formula from being hit by a falling object works ?

I've seen a video quite a long time ago where the player stacked tons (literally) of items in a container and if I remember it increased the damage. If your mod doesnt interfer with that, it means it has been fixed :

The wiki says :

"Deals damage to the teleported character/object and any characters/objects around the location it lands. Teleporting an enemy on top of another enemy thus deals damage to both."

But yet a comment from 2018 says :

Hey there. This mod always keep destroying a "new game" and saying "there couldn't be a functional story to be created" Any Ideas?

@ejohns1004 <3 Such an excellent game - I've not been gripped by a game this much before! Modders are always finding new ways of making cool stuff too which has helped the longevity massively. I've got something new coming in a couple of weeks too which I can't wait to release :steamhappy:

You can easily tell how good a game is by how dedicated it's modding community is years after initial release.
It's a very rare thing.

@AarkNoa No problem! So sorry it took so long to get this done - I've been battling a very busy schedule over the past few months :steamsad:
