Description
Compatible with the 1.24 Japan patch and the Cradle of Civilization expansion

This increases the maximum number of idea groups from 8 to 10. The main purpose of this mini-mod was for it to be included in other mods. It can still be used with the base game, but it doesn't add any new idea groups so each country will be able to have 10 of the 19 total idea groups.

My intent in releasing this small part of my main mod was so that other modders could use it. Thus I'm giving my permission for anyone to use this in their own mods as long as they give me credit. If you do add it to your mod I recommend that you add new idea groups (I personally added 14 new idea groups, for a total of 30).

Is there a manual download? Steam has fucked since 1.16 and no longer downloads any mods.

I've tried updating the Steam version of the mod guys. For some reason Steam won't let me. It will only allow me to publish an entirely new mod. Both mods are updated on the forums, but I'm not sure what to do about the Steam version.

Seems to work now, after i unsubscribed the mod "instant colonies"...

Nope, it doesn't work anymore. If it works for you, you're lucky. The gfx are fine (meaning the windows etc) but the ideas are not there, you have only 8 with a window that would fit 10. There was certainly a change in any relation to the mod, otherwise it wohld work for ANYBODY.

The only thing that was changed in the last update that the mod affects is that production efficiency from admin tech was lowered from 5% to 2% per relevant level.
Which is to say that playing with the mod enabled in its "outdated" state is perfectly fine as long as you don't mind that you're getting higher production efficiency than vanilla from tech.

I'd also like to remind everyone that for the most part, The Tenth Idea works without issues between updates even when not updated.

The only gameplay-related file the mod changes is the administrative technology file, so if an update doesn't change or add anything that you gain from levelling up ADM tech, then the mod will have absolutely no issues.
