I post all the save game files because unfortunately, it takes F O R E V E R to start a new game with this thing, there's like 2 million database changes and it's just not something fm20 is optimized to do. I don't think it's actually that dependent on your computer speed but if you're making your own database setup it'll probably take more than 2 hours of the bar being stuck on "setting up database" or whatever it is.

For whatever reason, attributes ran a lot higher in the older databases; there are more players who will "look world-class." To make the game world flow better, I increased national youth ratings (regens) by 10-15 points across the board and increased some players' potential ability.

Known issues:
Financials are still a bit of a problem. Sponsorships, wages, transfer values (reputations), all that stuff. I tweaked it a bit but I probably didn't get it perfect. Financials are also on a modern, 2020 scale since there's no way to change them without going into every league's advanced rules. Get ready for "the Prem money" and that kind of stuff. Three years into the game, someone like Charlton are going to have a better side than they did in real life.
A few leagues had different numbers of teams in 2003 and 2020 - Serie A will have 20 teams in the game (because it needs 20 teams to run), but back in 2003 it only had 18. Belgium has a new format where there's only 16 teams in the first division instead of 18, and there's only one relegation per season, I guess to stop teams from going out of business. So you'll have old players and old teams to play around with, but out of necessity the formats will be modern.
I'm seeing what I can do with separate advanced rules files that can effect formats and maybe way down the road, finances - last year I got Argentina to run with 20 teams instead of 24. But above all I want the game to be stable (not crash).

If someone else wants to add a league, and they have a copy of the CM 2003-04 editor, I can put it together if you do the gruntwork of adding all the players. Think of it as a little more than 20 players per team, maybe 30 for a big club with a good academy. The easiest way to do this would be a new FM20 editor file, with all new entries. Don't build on top of players in the database; I deleted a lot of them, so it might give you an error. Make a new entry even if your player is already in the DB. Don't worry about copying the player history, and don't worry about being 100% true to the CM0304 data if it's insane (young player with 3 pace, etc).to the CM0304 data if it's insane (young player with 3 pace, etc).
