Perplexus

Description
Two cubes, one funnel, one laser: moderately perplexing.

Also check out cyhborg's take on this puzzle in a different style and with a nice twist.

Fun fact: This map originated from the same file as RedSilencer's "Perplexus Maximus" which he sent to me. I was supposed to edit the layout but I made too many changes to go back and then made it into a full puzzle of a different kind. If you compare it you can still see some similarities. Apparently that very early RedSilencer map no longer met his standards and has been deleted.

Very nice map! I overcomplicated the last step and didn't notice the angle panel , and at one point I thought it was to bring them all out .At the beginning, it is more complicated than it looks and requires more steps to achieve the expected goals. Very enjoyable!

I guess I found the correct ending.

Whoah man, how hard I cheered when I finished this map. Poured something like three hours in it yesterday, acquired the second cube pretty fast, but got really stuck after this. Played Cyhborg's Divergence to learn something, but it didn't really help that much. Today another two hours, and finally victory! Funny that the lasercube ended up in another spot than where I first thought it had to go. Great great map!

great puzzle! It took me three hours to solve the great puzzle, but I found two solutions. One method is the same as that in the video, and the other method can place transmission door for laser transmission on the top of the entrance and exit room. If it is placed correctly, it can emit laser ,Then put the reflection block below.

Very cool map. Like Polux, I played cyhborg's version first, and like Polux, I found this one to be more difficult. Both are really good maps. I am not sure which I like better since each version has moves that I really like. Thumbs up.

The hardest puzzle I've ever solved, feeling really proud of myself right now. Amazing work Toncica, added to my favourites.

Great puzzle. I got completely stuck and resorted to the walkthrough - wow, I'm out of my league, but that's not your problem - thumbs up.

Thank you for those kind words. I can't say how much I appreciate it because I think of this one as my technically best puzzle. In fact, I left Portal for many months after making this puzzle because it felt like an accomplishment, like the kind of puzzle I always set out to make when I started to take my first steps in the editor. I would have been fine with this one being my final map.

This is a work of art. There are tons of steps, but none of them are repetitive. It's like a rollarcoaster ride that loops around on itself in fascinating and convoluted ways. I'm not sure how long you worked on the structure of this thing, but it's simply astounding what you are able to pull off in such a small space. This is surely a puzzle to be proud of.
