Description
In the efforts of resolving the DEFAULT error I have tested all theories as to what is causing this. None of the theories have panned out.
DayZ dev team is aware of the issue, they have been able to replicate the issue in house apparently. This is just not something we can fix at the moment. There seems to be some kind of engine restriction of sorts.

TLDR; MuchDecos is compatible with mods, but a certain amount of big mods will throw it off the rails. You will have to choose what mods you run. Cut on the mods that do same thing. e.g. if you run expansion, don't run BBP as well.


MuchDecos is a mod that brings A LOT of vanilla items to be placeable and usable. Some items are just for decoration, some will have storage inventory, some will have special functionality.

Camp Houses, stands, sheds, caravans, green houses have large inventories and will be lockable with the custom Padlock.
Gates will be lockable with the custom Padlock.
Special items:
Trash cans - You can put items inside and use action "Throw trash away" which will delete all items inside the inventory of the trash can. 3 variants, 2 different models but one will not be pickable by players so it can be used at traders.
Padlock - combination lock which is compatible with the openable houses and such
Grave shovel - can dig a grave with it
Sink - You can drink from it like from the pumps around the map


I'll do my best to update the documentation for it we have over 100 items in this mod so it takes a while.
I'll take suggstions in the discussions. Please note i will not add any custom models to this mod unless it is used to facilitate the use of another vanilla item (e.g. different types of kits models). Send a picture of the item you want, but please consult the list of current available items before doing that.

Known bugs
Duplication of items when placing.Environment: Server not wiped. BuildAnywhere mod is on(could be outdated buildanywhere). I'll try to see if i can resolve this issue. It would be best to load this mod last.

Q: Some of these items seem unrealistic to come out of a box
I know. You can choose which items to allow in your server.

Q: How do you obtain these items on a server?
Standalone items: trader/ in the world as loot Kits: trader/ in the world as loot Combine crafting: you combine 2 items together like nails and planks Workbench crafting: you put items in a workbench, while holding the craft book you get the option to craft if you have enough items Note: I'm less fan of the workbench because it requires an action per craft which is not ideal atm. if i can refactor it more i can add more craftables to the workbench


Q: How to dismantle items placed as kits?

Use screwdriver to dismantle all items that come in a kit. Conditions to be able to dismantle: You must be within range. Inventory must be empty, including slots. If it has a gate/door, the door must be unlocked. If it is a wall or gate, you must be behind the wall. Usually when placing it, it will show you the front so rotate 180 to get the back towards you. Camo net has the box in the middle. hold inventory open and look in vicinity until you find it, then look down.

Instructions:
1. Copy the mod from !Workshop to DayzServer root.
2. Copy the Helkhiana.bikey into your server keys folder.
3. Add the @MuchDecos to your server launch parameter.
4. Combine types.xml from Extras folder into your types.xml.Amend however you wish for kits to spawn
5. Optional: Combine TraderConfig with your trader's config. Amend prices however you wish for your own economy

Hello, I would like to know, for the graves. once you make the cross you can dig around the cross to get a pile of dirt, like in the picture ?

Much love to this mod, however, it was uncompatible with BBP on our modconfig. If this gets fixed, we're more than happy to re-apply it to our modlist

I am not planning to add any bigger buildings. If you want lockable houses/apartments maybe a different mod is needed.

Thanks for a great mod. Not sure if it's a bug or if I don't know where the hitbox is, but how to you take down the large camo net. Player on my server blocked his camp, and I'm trying to help him out.

Great mod. Any plans of adding bigger buildings as placeable and lockable ie houses?
